Anarchists call for end to the United States in Inauguration "Call to Action"
Anarchis Resistance Website | January 7, 2005

Posted on 01/08/2005 1:22:43 PM PST by nwrep

In outlining their tactics and strategy for anarchist protests during the inauguration of President George W. Bush on January 20, the Anarchist Resistance website has called for an end to the United States.

Below is their "Call to Action" posted on their website http://www.anarchistresistance.org/anarchistcall.shtml

***************************************************************************************

All out for an anarchist mobilization against centralized power...at the 2005 Presidential Inauguration: Washington, DC - January 15-20th. As George W. Bush is coronated on January 20th, the question is not if there will be protests, but what shape these protests will take. Thousands are organizing to oppose Bush's Inauguration. As the liberal and authoritarian groups negotiate permits with the powers that be, it's time to put forward an alternate vision of protest; one of resistance to, not cooperation with the authorities.

This January, let the world see not a display of American Patriotism from the right and American "free speech" from the left but a massive resistance to the latest representation of 200+ years of murder, slavery, greed and genocide that has been the American way from George Washington to George W. Bush. There's nothing left to salvage in this empire that is the U.S. government. It's time to bring it down.

For those of us who envision a world without rulers, a world without borders and a world with freedom for all, not just those within a particular nation, class, race, gender or religion - the time to act is now - with all out resistance to capitalism and centralized power. From empires, occupation, and colonialism by governments, to a culture based on patriarchy, domestic violence, child abuse, and so many forms of oppression - the system is broken. It cannot be fixed, or reformed as many will try and tell us. It is from the ashes of the system, that the new world that we envision can arise.

The U.S. Presidential Inauguration is one of the grandest ceremonies of the ruling class in the land. As anarchists, it's a prime opportunity to shatter these illusions of grandeur by crashing this decadent display of arrogance and wealth. This, Jan. 20th, let's bring anarchy to the streets of DC - make resistance visible, and ring in the next four years with a smash!

Apples and oranges.

If we had no 'authority', what would be the difference between them and us?

For many God is the authority, and for others it is the law, and the police.

I understood you to mean that people would behave properly, and with ethics, if left on their own.

?

This debate is interesting to me, if it's bugging you, we can call it off. :-)

Poor choice of word on my part. I'm not arguing, just interested in opinions.

I can't see how civilization can work with out laws.

People willl only behave "properly", if there is no other choice. If the results of behaving "improperly" bear to high a price for most to pay.

Right now we have boh religions and governments either protecting people from heir mistakes or giving them an excuse for their abuses of their fellow humans. Without POWER inherent in governments, all you have are individuals dealing with each other.

Social mores and standards regain importance. How are you going to buy groceries if no one in town will sell them to you because you are an a$$hole? Or a known pervert? Or a Satanist in a town of Christians? Or known for renegging on contracts or debit?

Anarcho-capitalism begins by assuming everyone is their own Master and no one other person has soverign Rights over another or their property. Dealing with each other as equals just follows from that. As does keep a close on on each other with a certain amount of distrust. This works a lot better than just excusing peoples behavior, setting up power structures rife with abuse to try and get segements of the population to "behave", and makes the consequences of your actions that muh more immediate and important to every individual.

Who says you still wouldn't have Laws? Think of them more as contracts with Courts adjudicating on a contract basis between indivuals, instead of between a State body and an individual...

Anarchists are usually militant and violent by nature, and their "goal" is the forced overthrow of the U.S. government.

Anarchists usually double as professional peaceniks and anti-war activists in the U.S.

Therefore, "Anarchist" is an oxymoron; And I put no stock in the ramblings of a few walking oxy-morons.

I think it's great that a fringe group like these anarchists feel free to make such a protest, and that no one listens to them or takes their ideas seriously. In spite of all its problems, the United States is still an unusual combination of freedom and stability. Very few such societies have existed in history.

"They can come to the Inaguration provided they use no... roadway or any other transportation system that was ... developed with assistance by the government."

Moreover, they may not trespass on private property on pain of violence being done to them by the property owners, which they cannot complain to the Authorities about, since they do not reconise Authority.

They've decided that our laws and rules, the system, don't apply to them. Alright, since they've decided this, then rights and other good stuff shouldn't apply to them either. Let them protest, and let the police have a fun time taking out their frustrations and anger on them. Kill them, beat them, lock them up in Guantanamo Bay, whatever. Then tell the DUmmies they're next, and watch them shriek like little girls.

Another tax-exempt/non-profit front org sponsored by subversive Euro-socialism and neoMarxist "liberalism"?

They are not "anarchists" - they are neoMarxist anti-capitalists.

They are hired and/or inspired to be NOISE MAKERS.

The "American" *media* panders to them. In fact, many times the Fifth Column/Estate media echo their anti-American agitations.

Now, will the Republican party stand up and expose this propaganda crap for what it is and just what is behind it?

The Republicans do not effectively counter their perverse opposition.

They've got em under a microscope if they know who they are. Can u imagine what a tempting target the innaugural will be? If u like to read there are some good books on the subject. "American Jihad" by Steven Emerson" and "Bin Laden" by Yossef Bodansky are worth reading imo.
