Kittens
My house | 12/13/2004 | Tennessee_Bob

Posted on 12/13/2004 1:30:47 PM PST by Tennessee_Bob

Good afternoon, Freepers!

I have two kittens, approximately 7 months old that we adopted approximately 5 months ago. They were hand raised from approximately 2 weeks of age (their mother was killed on the roadside), and they're about the friendliest cats I've ever run into. However, they've gotten to be more than my daughter is willing to handle. As it stands, I'm taking care of my daughter, the house, the original cat and the dog, and myself - so I've got my hands full.

If there is anyone in the Oak Ridge/Knoxville area who would like to have two loving, friendly black tabby kittens, please freepmail me.

Hi Bob,

Love to help, but I'm in the same boat. Two cats, (would someone please empty the litter box?!), a dog that keeps breaking out of her pen and chasing cars, and a 9 year old son who has told me for the hundredth time that he will be responsible if I get him a new puppy.

Maybe we could raffle off a few animals and use the proceeds for a nice big bottle of rum. :^)

Good luck.

Not to piggy back on your thread (well, quite obviously I am) but if anyone in the Philadelphia area is interested in an 8 year old cat that stalks its owner, looks like Hitler and pees on the rug, you can have him.  I've got another pair, one that's a real jerk with diabetes, and another one that's morbidly obese and won't stay off the bed, you can have those too.

I don't tell too many people about this, but the Hitler cat and the Diabetic one, well, early one morning, I woke up and the two of them were lying on my bed, sharing the love that dare not speak it's name.  Needless to say I was revolted, kicked them off the bed and changed all the linens.
But because of that experience, I suspect that they're probably DUers.
I don't think we should trust them to be Viking Kitties.

I have friends in Blaine who keep a large population of cats as IPM - and because they like having cats. They live on a farm in a restored farmhouse. The cats have cat portals to come and go as they please. Its a good home if you are not set on having them be indoor only kitties. They have several senior citizens now, so its probably a good time for a couple of additions.

Well, if they have portals for them to go in and out, then it's not as bad as them being locked outside. That would be fine - can you check with them to see if they're interested?
