Well said. I remember the days when Bible reading was a fixture of public schools. The teacher usually read ten verses each morning from the Psalms or Genesis, something inspirational but not too thought-provoking. When we got older, the teacher chose different students to read the Bible verses. I remember being chosen to read from the Psalms.

Bible reading was banned from schools when I was ten years old.
