A lot of us never post because most things are covered by the pros anyway. We just discuss the posted subjects.

And, some of us (me, me, me)are so slow on the keyboard, we are always too late.

Kind of like that young lady in the back seat of her boyfriend's 52 Ford, she talked so slow that before she could say she wasn't that type of girl....she was.

In my mind, being a FReeper is a mental condition. There are untold thousands who come to FRee Republic and lurk, that is they read the threads and agree or disagree. In their hearts and minds they are either FReepers or not depending on their attitude. They either like us or they dislike us.

These good folks come out to Freeper events. Thousands showed up for the March For Justice and were present in lesser numbers at events I attended in 2004. They said "I don't post but I wanted to come."

One important thing to consider is that you may have a really important thought or tidbit to share..... don't be stingy. After you have been complimented or trashed a warm feeling of acceptance will descend and all will be well.

Don't sell yourself short. I was on when this board worked the dan rather memo debacle. Buckhead may have gotten the blame, but what I saw here was hundreds of FReepers adding their two cents, coming together for a bill rather couldn't pay. If you're smart enough to know that you should be here, you you must obviously bring something to the table.
