I just read somewhere that those who come to Free Republic are not FReepers, unless they actually sign up and post something. I have been coming here for all my news and opinion since September 11, 2001 and had enough input that I felt my 2 cents would only be superfluous, since I agree with most of you all anyway. Please accept my sincere request to become a true FReeper.

Just my .02....but...I think that it takes THREE things to be a Freeper...
1. To be a true lover of our Constitution and the principles which build this nation originally.
2. Participation.
3. Financial support.
I tell you the truth....I started supporting FR financially when I realized that it was better than any news site available....but I was more compelled to do so once I started posting and FreepMailing (using up storage). :-)

"since I agree with most of you all anyway." This is really John Kerry. There's no way that anyone can agree with most of the people on FreeRepublic and not be John Kerry. He agrees with all of us. He supports our troops. The war was a colossal mistake, but I'd vote for it again. George Bush screwed up everything about the war, but I wouldn't do anything different at this point.

You've also got to participate in a demonstration or write a letter to your newspaper, an advertiser, a website, a public official, or a TV station to become a true Freeper. You have to ruffle a few feathers, IOW.
And you have to learn HTML basics -- not as necessary since JR created new software -- but still very helpful at times.
