Young people’s jaws drop, when they are shown films like Airplane, Blazing Saddles, etc.
They can’t believe such films were ever allowed to be made.
Depressing.

At least Saturday Night Live is still funny. If you have a time machine that can take you back to 1977...

I’ll stick with classic tv and movie comedy.
Some of the vintage radio stuff such as Our Miss Brooks holds up.

No it isn’t. 75 or 82, which is it? Two ages are given.

(David Zucker, 75, told PragerU that film executives were ‘destroying comedy’ because they are too afraid to upset a fraction of the population who ‘don’t have a sense of humor.’
The veteran funnyman, 82, told Fox News)
75? 82? I say, let ‘em crash!

It is surprising that many of the last century movies and TV dramas are even allowed on replay streaming now, due to the cancel culture.
Some of those movies/TV programs do carry new ‘warnings’ [which were non-existent in the originals] at the beginning. I have to snicker when I notice the ‘warning’: smoking.
I am also surprised at hearing the N-word in some of the last-century dramas. I would have thought those would have been ‘bleeped’ out by now.

Do the Woketards ever think about how the creativity gets channeled when the humor is stifled?
Take for instance the anecdote about how Catherine the Great died. Some of the workers might have decided to make faulty scaffolding, thinking "why not have her die while engaging in her favorite activity?".
They probably all smiled and were pleasant to her while doing it....

I believe Seinfeld agrees with him, and actually said the same thing 20 years ago. And it’s much worse now.

You can’t make super silly fun comedies like Airplane! anymore.

I love Monty Python but Cleese has been spouting the leftist thought for years. I hope he enjoys what he supported. I know I don’t.
