Am I alone? I don't know anyone who has died of Covid.

So I'm on this debate on Twitter.

Here, fellow FReepers is the God's honest truth.

I am 53 years old. I'm not a recluse. I have family, friends, co-workers, all over the United States. I'm socially active.

I do not know a single person who has died from Covid. I do not know a single person who has been hospitalized with Covid. I have not once received a phone call that someone I know has died from this.

I DO KNOW several people who have gotten Covid, all have recovered. Most said it felt like a weird cold. One friend of mine said it kicked his ass. None of them went to the hospital with it. All have been fine.

I read about hospitals overwhelmed with patients on life support, dying.

Seriously, am I living some strange sheltered existence where this disease doesn't exist?

Three weeks ago I called 911 for my double vaxxed, 82 y/o neighbor. She was in bad shape. Today, she’s recovering altho a move to assisted living seems to be in the cards. My SIL in his late 40s had C19 a few months back and described it as a bad flu. He’s fine today. The funny thing is I sat next to him for a basketball game the day before he got really sick. He was complaining of a cold/sinus problem. I never got it, maybe because of D3, zinc & vitamin C daily.

You are not alone. I am more or less the same. Nobody that I knew personally has died of Covid. Friends / acquaintances of relatives or friends, yeah a couple but that’s it for me.

I know someone who got COVID, and then died. I suspect that with proper medical treatment they would have survived, but the hospitals lose liability protection if they deviate from the prescribed, and I suspect deeply flawed, protocol.

But you can't tell the grieving family that.

2 relatives, 2 neighbors, 1 friend from church, 6-7 acquaintances. Several who survived but will never be the same. I find it hard to believe that you know no one.

One couple over 80 who died of Covid at the beginning.

One associate over 70 died a year ago.

Many who have caught it and recovered.

One couple had it, but months apart. Both healthy active people in their 50s.

Both took the Ivermectin protocol (Yes! for humans!).

He recovered in just a few days, but months later, she took weeks to recover.

Yeah, that needs to be addressed. patients should have rights/say so on their treatment options. Denying Ivermectin is just wrong.

Nope, You are not alone;

I don’t know anyone who has died of it.... In fact I only know one person who claims to have had it... about a year ago; a cousin, (with just about every co-morbidity on the list)... And her brother , who is a Registered Nurse with 35 years experience with says it wasn’t Covid. And she just felt bad for a week, not even hospitalized.

And also, none of the people in my circle of friends or relatives have been been vaccinated either.

I know many people that have had it. All have recovered fully. No one I know has died from it. Only one person was sick enough to be hospitalized (because he has asthma) and told me after receiving oxygen therapy in the hospital for the covid that his asthma isn’t as bad as it used to be.

My ex-girlfriend’s 28-year old son just spent 2 1/2 months in the hospital and died from the effects last week.

I know of 6 family and friends who died this year. None died of or with covid.

I have known 2 people who died of Remdesiver, who had Covid. I have known of 12 deaths after vaccination, strokes and heart attacks

With influenza cases in the 30-60 million range EVERY SINGLE YEAR prior to 2020, There was 1822 flu cases in 2020. I too have doubts that covid19 even exists. I don’t know one single person that died of or with the Chinee cool. I can think of 3 people that said they had it, but they are all above ground so who the f knows.

I know one person who tested positive for Covid, in her late 50s, unvaxed. She was feverish for a day. Then okay.
