People Need To STOP Bashing Sarah Palin Over McCain

Posted on 03/26/2010 8:44:09 AM PDT by wk4bush2004

So yeah, I'm getting sick and tired of how people are bashing Sarah Palin over her endorsement of McCain.

We all know why she's doing it and she has my complete respect and support.

So, anyway, conservatives are fighting amongst each other over this and it really is pathetic! On Sarah's Facebook page, people keep lamenting, whining and moaning over it, and I kept calmly trying to calm them down, but they wouldn't listen. Finally, I lost it and said:

"FOR GOD'S SAKE, PEOPLE, PULL YOURSELVES TOGETHER!!!!! THIS IS NOT HOW A GROUP OF PATRIOTS ACTS!!!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY, DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO BE 100% PERFECT IN YOUR EYES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO BE A VIABLE CANDIDATE???? LAST TIME I CHECKED, NO ONE IS!

SARAH PALIN IS THE BEST CHANCE WE HAVE TO UNSEAT OBAMA AND HIS FASCIST REGIME AND YOU'RE ALL HERE TOO BUSY ARGUING ABOUT ONE ENDORSEMENT!!!!!!!! THAT IS PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!

WE HAVE TO BE 100% UNITED IN ORDER TO DEFEAT THE SOCIALISTS!!!!!!! STOP GETTING INTO STUPID PETTY FIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SARAH ENDORSED MCCAIN! OK, DONE, NEXT ISSUE, PLEASE!!!!!!!"

I'm no military guy, but I do know that in a battle, you need to have a UNITED FRONT and petty arguments like this are dividing the front!

It is obvious that Sarah Palin is the only one who can defeat Obama and that we need to be united around her!

Unfortunately Sarah must carry the weight of Juan McCain strung around her neck. She is between the proverbial rock and a hard spot. However I do believe the voters would punish disloyalty far more then loyalty to a bad conservative candidate. One can only hope that Az voters will solve her “McCain problem” for her. That would be nice.

Well maybe there is a chance the GOP can be purged of the already mentioned socialists. However, I think that the Tea Party, if organized, could beat both the Rats and the GOP.

If you are going to try, and you really are trying to win, the third party candidate should run as such from the get-go. A candidate that has already failed to win 50+% of the Republicans, will have a hard time winning a majority of both republicans and democrats. Unless there are significant revelations after the primary with regards to the party’s nominee, someone who loses the primary then comes back to run third party against the winner is only showing their disgust with the nominee.

I guess we’ll have to see how things shake out in the next two years. A lot can happen in that time.

You know, I remember your name from our spats before. Therefore, I now conclude that you are mentally challenged, and will not waste any more time with someone who desparatly needs a shrink. They do have meds for people like you, and I sincerely hope you take full advantage of what’s available to you.

She CANNOT be knocked because of ONE endorsement!

I love Sarah Palin, but you're quite wrong here. She certainly can be knocked because of one endorsement, because it's the highest profile one she has made so far, and it's one many conservatives will remember.

I can understand why she is doing it, but it's getting harder and harder for me to say 'pass, friend' due to her vocal support of someone who is at least partly responsible for the current mess we are in.

In general I agree with your assessment. I doubt that you’re correct that Palin’s the only person who can beat Obama in 2010, though. I’ll bet by 2012 the dogcatcher would be able to mount a successful challenge to Obama. Now I’m not saying I like the other alternatives better, Sarah may very well be the best alternative, just I don’t think the GOP’s situation is as stark as you made it out to be.

Go to see palin, then leave before mccain speaks.

That's actually what happened the other day in Tucson. Many left after Palin's introduction, and even though most did stay, the applause for McCain was almost nonexistent in comparison to that for Palin.

The exception to that is the Lieberman scenario, where the party rigs the nomination, so that the candidate most desired even by members of THAT party ends up running independent, especially if the party in question is dominant in that state. Kind of a perfect storm type situation and doesn't come together very often, I know.

And, how in the heck do we know if JD gets elected, he won’t get taken in by the elitists in DC?

Oh, I don't know, cause he's already been there once, maybe? How about the fact that his lifetime ACU rating is 97% to McPain's 83? And Hayworth was in Congress for 12 or 14 years, so don't assume it just represents a couple years and "Guess what, McPain has at least two years in that range as well."

Personally I think Sarah Palin should forget about politic partnering with anyone and instead concentrate upon organizing a grass root USA militia to be a ready reserve against any organized non-constitutional forces appearing.

For instance NATO troops assigned to guard the Whitehouse, Brownshirts that are ACORN and SEIU assigned to be Obamas personal army with orders also being un-constitutional, illegal and acting as threats from within.

The left will not allow her to even come close to Washington in any normal election process, so it has to be done differently. So far everyone talks about being a loyal armed American citizen, but to what effectual purpose? Just to defend our personal property?

Well, the best of luck to whoever wins the primary. After that, then we must beat the DEMORAT for the seat.

This is an old, and always interesting conversation.
Perfection or electability; or can we have both?
