I knew a country once. It was called "America"

Posted on 11/08/2006 3:13:19 AM PST by TexasPatriot8

This is directed at those so called "conservative" retards who did not vote for their Republican Senators and Representatives in the few close states, or who voted Libertarian or Democrat.

I knew a country once. It was called "America". "Libertarians" and Republicans who didn’t vote; YOU ARE TRAITORS to that country and your so called conservative values. It’s that simple. And you just handed America to the Modern American Socialist party. Good job. Well done. GO TO H**L!!! I am so disgusted and ashamed of America right now I can’t even hardly type. I can’t sleep either. I can not make myself even process the fact that in a time of war, the most serious and most difficult war in America’s HISTORY, the people of America are so weak and gutless that they can’t support the one single party with the ability to do what needs to be done to win and protect the country.

With a 15 or so seat House Majority and a basically two seat Senate Majority, the country is well and truly f****d for the next two years. The war, forget it. Might as well run up the yellow flag, pull our guys home, and grab and kiss our butts good bye. The terrorists will be gleeful about this election result, and that speaks for itself. The party of weakness and appeasement and talk without action just won. North Korea and Iran will cheer this election. That speaks for itself also.

The Supreme Court? Kiss it good bye for another 20 or more years. Stevens will not finish out 2007 on the court, maybe not even the next few months. And now, with no control in Congress, no real conservative nominee will get to the Senate floor for a vote. To all you so called Americans who didn’t vote Republican but CLAIM to be conservative, how’s that feel? How’s it feel to know that a couple hundred thousand of you geniuses just guaranteed that the Supreme Court will have more gutless milk toast moderates like Kennedy making decisions instead of people like Scalia and Thomas and Roberts and Alito? Does it feel good? STUPID B******S!!!

Say goodbye to a Congress that will fund a proactive aggressive war against terrorism, fighting far away before it hits home instead of reacting after it hits home. Say goodbye to tax cuts. Say good bye to border enforcement. Say good bye to limits on abortions and embryonic/fetal stem cell research. BILLIONS will now be wasted on bad junk research which will provide no cures, but will help protect abortion and human cloning. Say good bye to a good strong growing economy and healthy job market. The Democrats will have their way with all those things like a convicted sex offender at cheerleader camp.

Oh, and before I forget, The voters in Virginia and Ohio and Missouri and Montana are the STUPIDEST MOST RETARTED SHORT SIGHTED INBRED MORONS on the face of the stinking planet!!!!! This was not about Democrat numbers. This was about a few hundred thousand people who CLAIM to be conservatives, who either voted Libertarian or didn’t vote or voted Democrat. All three groups of those people are NOT conservatives and as far as I’m concerned, those pieces of trash give lip service about their supposed "conservative values" and then when it’s important, they chicken out, or have their little ego trip pitty party because the Republican party isn’t like Burger King; "If I can’t have it my way I just won’t vote for Republicans". I haven’t had a lot my way in the GOP but they’re the only game in town that can win that’s going to even try to do things that I like at least most of the time. How the STUPID STUPID people in those states, ESPECIALLY VIRGINIA, couldn’t see that. I’m just stunned.

You voters who claim to be conservative, and so concerned about America not being a liberal wasteland, but didn’t vote Republican in those close states you blew it!!! You just pimped out America because of your stubborn arrogance and insistence to have it your way or not at all. I would really like to hear from SOMEONE in those states who didn’t support their Republican Senators or Representatives, and tell me PLEASE, do you think you’re going to get what you want, anything you want, from a DEMOCRAT MAJORITY that YOU created in the House and Senate? You’re going to get a retreat on the war, higher taxes, wide open border, NO legislation to secure it, moderate Judges AT BEST, endless federal funding for abortion and failed science embryonic/fetal stem cell research, well fare programs galore, and a stagnant economy and job market. That never happened with a Republican Congress, even with RINOs in it. And you think the GOP spent too much? Wait till you see how much the liberals spend now that they have their sticky fingers back in the honey pot. They’re going to quickly fill up their 12 year hunger to have power back. Good job. You people who didn’t vote Republican but claim to be "Conservative" just sold America out like a pimp with a need for a fix. Feel good? It d**n well better feel good because it’s your fault!

The people of Missouri especially should be ashamed of themselves too. I mean, how stupid are the people of Missouri that didn’t vote for Talent and against Amendment 2??? Five minutes of research would expose the fact that that Amendment is a CLONING AMENDMENT and that stem cell research, INCLUDING EMBRYONIC STEM CELL RESEARCH IS ALREADY LEGAL IN MISSOURI!!! Just not TAX PAYER FUNDED embryonic stem cell research. It would also expose that McCaskell is a lying manipulative deceitful wicked woman who did ANYTHING to get elected, even use people like Michael Fox, who didn’t mind lying through his teeth, to get what he wants. If a cure for Parkinson’s is found, it will not be from embryonic/fetal stem cell research, no matter HOW MANY billions of dollars are poured into it. That’s a fact. Pure and simple. http://www.angelfire.com/blog/stemcells . "Show Me" State my butt!!! Can’t show someone something when their f*****g eyes are closed!!!

I never dreamed that so many Americans could have their heads up their a***s with so much on the line. Millions of Americans who voted for Bush in 2004, in just two short years, have become totally disconnected from reality. They swallowed the lies about Iraq hook line and sinker. They swallowed the lies about stem cell research. And clearly they swallowed the lies that the Democrat party isn’t as liberal as it really is. Any of you coward gutless "conservatives" in those States who didn’t vote Republican. Every time the Demcorats undo something that took a decade to do, every tax that’s reversed, every conservative bill that’s blocked, every conservative Judicial nominee that never sees the floor of the Senate, and every terrorist attack that happens in America because we’re not fighting aggressively abroad, own it, because it’s YOUR DOING!!! YOU DID THIS!!! YOU killed the modern conservative movement in Congress. YOU DID THAT!!! I hope the guilt of what you have done consumes you and haunts you relentlessly the next two years every time you hear of some liberal measure being taken on by this new Democrat Congress that YOU created by your selfish lack of inaction. I am really embarrassed and ashamed of this country. America just blew it. They handed the keys of the Congress to the Democrat party who has no plan. Just "Ewww this isn’t working, we can do better" but have no plane for how, just "let us do it, Bush sucks". That’s the Democrat plan. Saying the current path isn’t working, ISN’T A PLAN!!! Opposition ISN’T A PLAN!!! God I’m disgusted by this. If Bush doesn’t veto every single thing that the liberal Democrat leadership sends out of Congress, we’re all screwed. Reid and Peloosie and the radical liberal leadership now have the keys to the kingdom. And the last time the Democrats took Congress, it was over 40 years before they lost it. I hope all you self righteous "my way or the highway" conservatives are prepared to be a generational minority party again, because there is no guarantee that the GOP will be ABLE to take it back in ’08. Especially with the conservative front runner for President, Allen, being knocked off because of stupid voters in Virginia. Allen says "Macaca", not even meaning it racially, and he’s bad. Webb calls black people "n*****s" and monkey faces in a book HE WROTE, but that’s okay. Make him Senator. It’s hard to believe that in just 50 years, America has so fallen to what it will become in January. And when investigations and impeachment hearings begin. We will ALL know who is REALLY to blame. Conservatives are only real conservatives if they ACT and VOTE like it. RINOs aren’t the ONLY RINOs you know!!! If you didn’t support your Republican Senator or Congressman, you’re a RINO too, or more accurately, a CINO. Conservative in name only. REAL conservatives voted Republican. Anyone else is a half-wit poser who was too impressed by their own importance than what was good for the country. There is nothing that will come from liberal Democrat control of the House and Senate. And this sets them up real well to take the White House in 2008. So ends the conservative revolution to take America back to it’s roots and end the cancer of liberal socialism. I’m really afraid that America might just have died with this election. Every great fall starts with just one misstep. Unless something spectacular happens between now and November 2008, America is dead as a conservative values oriented nation. The best I am hoping for now is that a pathetic RINO like McCain or Giuliani can get elected President. Considering the inept weak willed behavior of voters that’s exposed itself Tuesday, that seems like the best there is to hope for. My God this is sad. Terrorists will celebrate this outcome. That says it all right there, and there’s no denying it. I wish I didn’t love this country so d**n much, then I wouldn’t give a rip.

we can look back on today as the day it all began, and thank those "conservatives" who stayed home....

Or SPLIT THEIR TICKET.  That is what happened.  The Republican's split their ticket.......

I understand your frustration, I, too, watched the television with the hope that all would turn out well. But the margins were way too big to explain by people who normally vote Republican voting Libertarian. In every election, there are about 40-45 percent hard-core Democrats, and 40-45 percent hard-core Republicans (your mileage may vary by region) and its that mushy middle who determines the outcome.

This time, they got freaked out by Iraq. Nothing more. Gay marriage lost everywhere it appeared on the ballot, including Wisconsin, where I expected that it might prevail. Same with "partner" benefits in Colorado, where I expected that people might feel comfortable voting "No" on gay marriage, but "Yes" on civil unions, domestic partnerships, call them what you want.

Frankly, when I signed on to the war with Iraq, I did not envision what took place. I really expected our President to deal with both the Shia and the Sunni resistance decisively, I certainly did not expect the number of American dead that we've sustained to go unpunished.

This was a vote against politically correct warfare, that's all it comes down to. If GWB had nuked Fallujah the minute we saw pictures of dead burnt bodies of US contractors hanging from that bridge, we'd have killed a fair number of insurgents, saved the lives of US military who had to take that city in house-to-house fighting, and he would have been forgiven by people who were initially shocked. Anyone who hates Bush for the war would not have hated him any more. Furthermore, we'd have put a mighty fear in the hearts of our opponents in Iraq, and would likely have crushed the resistance.

This was a vote against fighting a war in the fashion we fought Vietnam, and future leaders would do well to take note.

I whole-heartedly agree.

The ones who are calling you a whiner just don't realize how serious this is at this point in history.

(And just maybe they're the Republican vote cut-and-runners you're talking about; they doth protest too much.)

The American voters are the same disloyal, feckless, spiteful, and ungrateful bastards who sent me to Vietnam, and then threw Baggies full of s*** at me when I came home. They are the same ones who say they "support the troops but oppose the war" and talk down to my son, my nieces, and my nephews who wear the uniform. They are the ones who elected the Congress that voted to cut and run in 1974, and they have now elected the next cut-and-run Congress in 2006. They have chosen to squander the lives of our children and waste their heroic sacrifice. The only thing I can say good about them is that they only sacrificed 3,000 of our children to no end instead of 52,000. This country has shown itself to be truly unworthy of its defenders. They deserve the jihadist attacks on America that will inevitably follow our withdrawal from Iraq. To those who voted yesterday: f*** you, you're on your own dealing with al-Qaeda. My family will not contribute one more drop of our blood to your defense. We will no longer do your dirty work. You've always hated us. Fine. We hate you, too.

I'm another one of those conservative "retard" voters that pulled the lever "R".

This is not a complicated thing, nor is it an end of the country.

The Republicans had plenty of time to differentiate themselves from run-of-the-mill liberals, they refused to do it.

America doesn't want what the GOP was selling. They weren't selling conservatism, that much is for sure. Would a conservative platform have made a difference? We won't ever know - the GOP didn't try it. Maybe next time.

Those 2 paragraphs are worth repeating

I personally think we are safe until the day after pelosis' coronation, then the islamist will hit us hard and fast to see how this new congress responds ( i.e. spain)......

Nancy better find a brass set.

I expect the Dems to do the same sort of crap they did to ensure we couldn't finish the job in VietNam. I expect them to do their best to make us look like we can't win militariliy or do what needs to be done. (Because, I guess, our leaders in Congress won't.) Al Qaeda and other terrorists out there will use the respite to plot more attacks on the US. I really believe the Dem leadership does not care about the threat. (Can we call it what it is? Islam's war on everything and everyone else.) And I believe their voters really don't believe there's a threat, especially since some of them believe George Bush flew the planes into the WTC by remote control. The people get the government they deserve.

I wouldn't get so hacked off. Elections come, elections go. In just two short years, the circus will once again come to town. And we'll get yet another stab at the brass ring. If Democratic victories were synonymous with impending doom, the Republic would have come crashing down a long time ago.

We had a bad night. Life will go on. It's not worth making yourself sick over. I made that mistake once, when the Senate failed to remove Clinton from the office in 1998. My father made that mistake once when Gore tried to steal the election. Do you know what that got the both of us? A really bad migraine and a completely blown weekend. We tried, and we had a lot working against us tonight.

Sometimes, life is just not fair. In Minnesota tonight, Mary Kiffmeyer (Secretary of State) lost. She didn't deserve it. In West Virginia tonight, Robert Byrd won. He didn't deserve it.

Rush Limbaugh has said recently that he learned not to get too worried about things that are out of your control. That's why he doesn't sweat the media idiots.

Get some sleep, and take a break from the computer for a couple of weeks. It'll do you some good. And remember, these dingbats are not elected for life. We'll get another chance to clobber them in two years.

"This was a vote against politically correct warfare"

I think you have a good point here. The democrats did run an effective, coordinated, national campaign against the war. It worked.

Nation building is not good policy. When the democrats de-fund the war efforts, we'll see just how much Iraqi's and Afgani's really want freedom and democracy.

Y'know, I had this thought while seeing the election returns, has President Bush made us "too" safe? Has the fact that there have been no successful terrorist attacks for five years lulled the American people into thinking it was a one-shot deal? What if those terrorists planning an attack on British airliners heading for the US had been even partially successful? Their plan was to detonate the aircraft over the US, we could have easily blamed the security problems on the British.

Thomas Jefferson said that "the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Perhaps there were not enough of our fellow citizens dying to remind the rest of the sheep about that fact. Perhaps President Bush was the victim of his own success.

I share your anger at the so-called "conservatives" who didn't vote. I can't believe they did this to our military- especially after the John Kerry comment. I am disgusted, totally disgusted with them.

As a matter of fact- I think I'll protest them by staying home in '08. I might even sign up to drive the rats to the polls, since the "conservative" protesters tell me the way to victory for conservatives is to let the rats win.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhh!!

I don't think they can even begin to realize the damage they have done to our nation. The price for this is going to be sky high.

The only thing I can say good about them is that they only sacrificed 3,000 of our children to no end instead of 52,000.

Look on the bright side. If Islam's holy warriors come calling yet again, they'll be hitting the blue states yet again, which is another way of saying that the red states are probably safe. Why? Because that's how you can kill the most people in one sitting - by attacking densely populated cities. I don't wish it on blue staters, but the sad reality that seems to have eluded them is that they are in the crosshairs, whether they believe it or not.

"I’m really afraid that America might just have died with this election. '

Excellent post. Dead on right. I guess the dumbed down voters (of both parties) need to see how many more terrorist attacks will land on American soil. I guess we really don't need to save any money or enjoy what we make. But hey, it's much more important to know that your child can marry either Nancy or Michael, they have the choice that is so fashionable in the elite corridors of San Francisco.

I'd be better off quitting my high-paying job as a registered nurse and trade it in to be a cashier at Walmart. I'd make less money, pay less tax, probably get a tax cut and of course, massive free free free healthcare! I just wouldn't be able to use my professional credentials or make a higher salary. The rats will see to my every need if I just bow out of my profession and become a simple blue-collar worker. There is never going to be a need for any American to ever attain higher education or aspire to a profession, since the rats will ensure they will never get anywhere. All we earn will go to the socialist cause, free health care, free free free!

What a F------ mess. Why not just hire the World workers' party to "run things"? What embassy will Soros run? What part of our national security will Moveon.org decide to do away with? The CIA? Great! Goodbye Dept of Homeland Security. That bird won't fly, under the new neoMarxist order of America.

God help us all.
