WASHINGTON -- Hundreds of gay and lesbian parents hoping to take their families to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll plan to start lining up Friday evening to make sure they get tickets for the Monday event.

Thousands of tickets — an estimated 16,000 last year — are given away on a first-come-first-come basis beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

National Park Service officials said Wednesday that children of all ages may attend as long as there is at least one child 7 years old or younger, and no more than two adults per group.

First lady Laura Bush's office issued a statement saying all families are welcome to attend.

so very horrible that we would have to tell another American they can't have access to a government event

I seem to remember Cindy Sheehan getting kicked out of the State of the Union Address for promoting a political cause. Did you protest that action as well? Are the Bush admin bigots for not letting her stay?

"It is the attraction that makes someone gay, not the action."

That's like saying it's the attraction that makes someone alcoholic not the action of drinking.

I have no problem with throwing people out if they try to espouse any kind of political agenda, gay or otherwise, at an event like this.

But the whole point of having massive homosexual attendance is to "espouse a gay political agenda."

"sugarplum"?

Well, I do believe in fairies, I do believe in fairies, I do believe in fairies.....I just don't want them proudly advertising the sex act preferences that make them "special" and "normal" (at least "normal" since their lobby got the psych profession to drop it from the DSM IV of psychiatric disorders in 1973) ..... in kids' faces.

Kids see gay stuff every single day. Whether you like it or not, they're not going away.

1) Not my kids. 2) I know that the homosexual activists will do all they can to corrupt our children, but why on earth should they expect us to "tolerate" it?

Beyond wanting us to tolerate it...spectacles like this advertise in your face "celebrate" it.

Considering that easter egg rollers are kids below 7....... WTF.

Ok, thanks for the info. I don't watch much TV, so I haven't seen "Jack." I remember the original "Cage Aux Folles," though, so I can just imagine.

I did not realize that they were wearing T-shirts.

I feel sorry for these kids, raised by a bunch of angry people who are using them to prove a point.

apparently they are going to put a "rainbow lei" around the child to identify the SEX ACT their mother or father practices for recreation.

They might as well plaster a sign on the child that says "my mommy muches carpet" or some other explicit act.

"breeders" is a term homo-advocates use as a derogatory to describe heterosexual people. They are attempting to say their sex is "higher" because it is sex for sex not the production of accessory humans. (iow children)

It is like a Nazi calling a black person the "n" word.

If they are just showing up, I don't see a problem. If they start chanting political slogans, toss them out.

Oh, I'm dead serious. However, I am not surprised you have judged and convicted me. Seems to be what you enjoy doing best.

Dead, as in "Culture of Death."

Yawn. As I said, you are not a serious poster.

Did you condemn the Capitol Police for escorting Cindy Sheehan out of the State of the Union address for making a political statement?

What these homo-activist are doing is worse, in my opinion, that what Cindy Sheehan tried to do. Evicting both is appropriate.
