EXCLUSIVE: US Representative Tom Tancredo in Response to U.S. Nuke Threat: We Could Nuke Mecca

Exclusive: US Representative Tom Tancredo in Response to U.S. Nuke Threat: We Could Nuke Mecca

15 July 2005: He is a no-nonsense House Representative from Colorado, a staunch critic of the federal government's lax immigration and border enforcement policies, and one who recognizes the clear and present threat posed by Islamic terrorists inside the United States. In an exclusive interview today with Pat Campbell, host of AM 540 WFLA said yesterday he would request a briefing from the Justice Department on information it has on plans revealed by WND this week for a nuclear attack on the U.S. by al-Qaeda. Responding to a question by Mr. Campbell about our possible response to such a threat, Representative Tancredo said that there are things that could be done to pre-empt a threat, and in response to an attack as well. One response would be to take out one of their holy cities with a nuclear bomb if it was clearly proven Islamic terrorists were behind such an attack.

Through the courtesy of AM 540 WFLA and Mr. Patrick Campbell, the Northeast Intelligence Network is offering the audio excerpt from this interview. Click on the link below to download the MP3 audio and listen from your computer. The Northeast Intelligence Network applauds Representative Tancredo for all of his anti-terrorism efforts to keep our country safe. We also applaud Mr. Campbell for asking the tough but necessary questions - AND getting the answers.

Here is the quote from Tancredo!    "What if you said, if something like this happened in the United States, (and it was the result of extremist Muslims) then we could take out their Holy Sites!"

Now I like this guy. Maybe should move to his district. Gotta love the folks that elected him.

yeah what was that story at the beginning of the book 'Sum of all Fears' about the knight drawing the sword to kill the asp and genocide ensuing?

Once the first missle is launched it won't just stop there. thankfully most everyone realizes this, which is why there is a US and there is a Russia today.

Nobody thinks he would get the nomination. Tancredo himself says as much. He would only run to try and make immigration/border control an issue. And that would be a good thing. We've seen with Bush how truly awful a 'conservative' can be on the issue, and with potential front-runner McCain trying to pass an amnesty through Congress, it would be nice if there were at least an attempt to get some conservative values injected into the borders/immigration debate.

And this was all a "what if"

Tancredo did not say we should use nukes first; rather that they should be an option if they use them on us.

" See the link in reply #68."

Also, that was a pathetic response...which means you can't defend the open borders policy.

Thank goodness, now we can clear the way for another genuine conservative like George II

Hey Boss, between this and your lame profile (probably taken straight from an Alabama album), do you really think you're foolin' anyone here?

Tancredo is as nuts as Michael Savage. Both have their devoted followers who actually think the actions they recommend would be helpful, and little can be said to change their opinions.

and thankfully he will NEVER have his finger the button. Are you really as naive to think he would wait? I am not.

Glad he has nuked his own Presidential ambitions. He wouldnt even make it to Iowa as it is and a 3rd party candidacy will not go anywhere either, just as Perouted or Badnarik.....

Like you, I'd say there's more nonsense to Mr. Tancredo than not.

Our government needs to declare it the policy of this country that if a WMD is used by muslims on our soil, then we will irradiate Mecca & Medina, such that they will be uninhabitable for 10,000 years. Additionally, as Ann Coulter says, we will invade their countries, kill their leaders (including imams), & convert them to Christianity.

That ought to get the attention of these totally immoral people. Only the threat of a global effort to erase this death cult of a "religion" will cause the muslims to back off from their aims of conquest.

One other thing. if we don't start dissuading these people of the idea that their murderous behavior is gonna get them a special place in heaven, they wont care whether they go up in a mushroom cloud, or not. I suspect they already don't care, "moderate" or jihadi.

You realize we'd only do it if they started nuclear war first right? That's what Trancredo said.

So.. They start a nuclear war, and we're gonna sit on our thumbs? I don't think so pal.

It's the same as Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) threat that we had with the Russians, and it worked. Don't think for a second that the USSR wouldn't have destroyed us if they had the chance. It's the same with the islamofacist, even these psychopathic killers have to know their limits.

He should know better not to make quotes that could be used by Al Jazzera.

Correction: These are the types of quotes that we WANT Al Jazzera to broadcast.

I sadly agree. They blame everything that's wrong with their lives and their society on the West. Unfortunately it's their ultra-orthodox religion that's holding them back.

thankfully most everyone realizes this, which is why there is a US and there is a Russia today.

I saw a show just last night (on Discovery channel, I think) about the Cuban missile crisis and the four Foxtrot submarines in the Sargasso Sea area. Scary how close we really came to that awful scenario.

In addition, killing millions of innocent people brings us down to the level of the terrorists - we will become what we have beheld.

Nonsense.
This carries the," the state has no right to the death penalty or it becomes a murderer" thinking to it's logical
fallible conclusion.
