Judge says, No more bag searches for protestors.
"Sweet said the city had "not shown that the invasion of personal privacy entailed by the bag search policy is justified by the general invocation of terrorist threats, without showing how searches will reduce the threat."

Does that imply a spy within Los Alamos?<

No. It implies multiple spies and supporters.

Hmmmm. Somewhere I was reading that the Russkies would plant a bomb themselves- to make it appear that they were also victims of Islamic terrorism....

Thanks. Not sure what I can do to help yet. I don't have any of the above talents but I am in health care and live in a Texas border town.
I was thinking about this thread when I took my lunch break. I went to Best Buy to pick up a digital camera I have been wanting. They were sold out of most of them. The clerk told me that recently the Mexican Nationals have been coming across and buying them up as fast as they can get them in. I mentioned that HS alerting that terrorist may be coming across posing as Mexicans and to pay attention to accents. I then went to Circuit City to look at their cameras. Same thing. All sold out. I guess just vacation time.

Does that imply a spy within Los Alamos?

SPIES. Lots of them. In most classified spaces the ID tags are color coded. My company uses green for TS, yellow for secret. Red is for escorted visitors. Red/white indicates a foreign visitor. Classified discussions are supposed to take place only in secured spaces where all the parties are known to be cleared for the specific project. During the reign of "BJ" Clinton, the color coded badge system was eliminated at Los Alamos. It made people "feel bad" because they were not all "equal". Bad move. It made it impossible for employees to know whether a foreign national was sitting within earshot of classified comments made in inappropriate locations like a cafeteria or break room.

There is a standard protocol for making classified visits to a site. The security departments exchange written confirmation of the visit, the names and clearance levels and the purpose of the visit. A specific time and place is is designated. Normally a SCIF (Secure Compartmented Information Facility) is allocated for the meeting. Any time classified information is accessed, the person who observes it is required to sign and date the folder containing the info. The use of removable media allows the drives to be stored in a safe when the cleared personnel are not using them. Unfortunately, it also opens the possibility for theft of volumes of classified information when the cleared personnel are not trustworthy and no secondary physical search is enforced to detect the problem.

Depending on the location. A nuclear bomb, or 3 as claimed for that matter would certainly decimate the immediate vicinity of the city in question, and if that city was a major center of commerce like NY or Boston then yes a significant effect would be seen. Keep in mind though, as horrible as a nuclear attack would be, the weapons would not wipe out civilization as we know it. We could be plunged into a depression, but not unless all major centers were destroyed would we see something along that lines you are suggesting. Although our lives would certainly all change, it would not be the imagined post-apocalyptic image which you convey. The major destruction would be limited to the city (maybe the whole thing, maybe only part depending on the yield).

Furthermore, reading about all this can make you justifiably nervous, but you should not let it make you overly crazed. The fact is that the US has often been overshadowed by the threat of nuclear annhilation. The doomsday clock is set at 7 till midnight, but its been closer in the past. You just have to accept the possibility that an attack IS possible and understand what that means. Facing and coming to grips with something is the first step to conquering fear of it. And lets face it, weither real or imagined, this threat or usage of force is a tool to create terror by them. Do not give them what they want. If it is your day to be called home (i.e. die) then you'll get hit by a bus, blown up or have a heart attack. We are all mortal, and must accept that each day could be the last one. I do not mean to sound defeatist...on the contrary...I make the point that only when you confront that fear will you be able to function without it. And with that comes the knowledge and power. To fear death is to be crippled by it. If the worst thing that could happen is death, than you are better off than some others out there.

-wow that was a dark post, but alot of people on the thread, myself included, find its easy to let this worry run away with them and wonder weither an attack will happen today. I want us to stop an attack, but there is realization that in this is a no-rules fight and we may not be there at the end of it. Be steadfast, and hold the line.

Also, approx. 2000 troops from the 101st are re-deploying to the ME.

do we know which 101st? and from where? when? Just from my lame assessment when the 101st from Texas leaves it's on.

We raze one Amerikkkan city.

This is consistent with the early claims last year. The first city would be nuked after a prior warning to allow "viewing" by satellite of the destruction. The rest of the devices would be set off after the first "demo". The threats are consistent in form and content. We'll find out whether this is posturing or reality when it happens. My dad was XO at a large naval base for 7 1/2 years. Bomb threats happened frequently. After being notified of a threat, he would tell the security folks to call him again if it goes off. It was all empty threats.

He is full of it. I recall last December when he was claiming the "Cave of Darkness" was upon us in the next few days. He supposedly had one of the nukes in his possession, or some such thing, and was ready to detonate.

It's always "soon" with EOM.

From Jill's info--it says clearly that DC will get nuked. There is talk about placement in terms of prevailing winds- to create the most devastation possible. NYC is to be nuked and to receive weaponized anthrax (recall jakel image of blood pouring out of the city) Las Vegas is to get chems in hotels and a dirty bomb. Not sure about Seattle- but from the pictures- a nuke looks likely. LA- nuke. Harrisburg PA is also to be taken out- method not clear.

Where exactly did the DC threat come from? I don't doubt the desire on the part of Al Qaida, but I think I missed the bit about placement, etc. I looked at Jill's site very quickly & didn't see it, but perhaps you could point me in the right direction?

1. Bio has most likely already been dispersed (restaurants/trucking/high buildings/possibly July 4-6

I doubt it. If it had, we would be seeing symptomatic people by now.

A possible scenario has the "go" code given on July 15th (as posted on "internet-Haganah.us"), with the typical two day delay before the attack. That timing would mean the bio part of the attack came on July 17th (no moon that night, so anthrax would easier to disperse without detection. And a moonless night would fit the term "cave of darkness").

If a bio attack is part of their plan, then it seems logical that the "spectacular" (nukes?) part of their attack here in the U.S. would occur just before they expect large numbers of people to start to show symptoms. 1st day of the Democratic convention?

If the rest of the published scenario is actually correct, then the spectacular portion of the attack on the U.S. will be preceded by a major attack on Italy. Great Britain will be attacked at the same time as the U.S., or possibly a little before (could be the same day, but time zone differences might mean their preferred attack time in Britain comes before the attack here).

If Italy gets a major hit this week (or the Vatican is hit this weekend), then the above timetable could be right.

If Italy gets hit...

Hope I'm wrong.

101 is an Airmobile Division from Fort Campbell, Kentucky. 2000 troops is about an Infantry Brigade wilth all it's support. That's about one third of the division. I suspect this is normal troop rotation.
