"...I showed you where Bush was wrong in almost EVERY key moral area - and you agreed..."

I did indeed agree that he was wrong in SOME areas, but have repeatedly, repeatedly that is, said that on balance he was a good president, and in fact mentioned that God was working through him, in one post. But ceding the point that I disagree with GW on some issues (this one included), I still like him enough to vote for him again, for many other reasons. Nobody is perfect, and his plusses by far outweigh his minuses.

I'm a firm believer that Bush is a tactician because of what he's done for Texas. I hope he only made this speech to excite the public in to conversation. Before this was brought up, it wasn't even a major issue for 2004, no matter how much conservatives wanted it to be. IMO, this trial balloon could be fake. Half of what he's discussed in public was never serious discussion but rather a way to keep the spotlight on him rather than the leftist hate club. I also hope the ridiculous laws he's paased will be repealed because of "a failed idea". wink, wink I find it very hard to believe that so many Republicans would actually vote for liberal issues like they have unless the President made them aware of a "secret political plan" (60 Republican Senators)

No, I mean the conclusion about how withholding your vote for a Republican, and trashing the supreme court, won't lead to a democRAT president who can ignore the constitution.

Oh, is telling the truth tantamount to "trashing"? Again, stop mischaracterizing my statements. Prove something I said wrong either logically or factually.

Your argument is fallacious as I have already pointed out. If a Dem is elected it will be precisely because over 40% of Americans vote for him! How can I be responsible if I don't vote for a Dem? I can't! Fallacy alert! So, you can blame our immoral citizenry, not me - I will vote for the BEST candidate. Blame the people who do the deed not the people who are the MOST principled.

Another error you make is your assumption that the GOP doesn't ignore the Constitution. What do you think this amnesty program does? Look, the Republicans ignore the Constitution as much as Democrats. There is little difference anymore.

I actually think this amnesty program is more harmful to American Citizens than a blowjub under the desk.

Agreed.

and in fact mentioned that God was working through him

May he his, maybe he isn't. Let's remember, God also worked through the Assyrian Empire, through Nebachudnezzar, and through Titus and the 10th roman legion.

Yes, YOU ARE LYING because everything you cite is your opinion which God knows where you pulled that from. Prove that you are not lying by citing 7 instances of the phrase "Declaration of Independence" in the US Code, liar. That means Title, Chapter, etc.

"As I've said, I challenge anyone to find a single mention of my not voting for Bush in November.
I'd rather it be Reagan though.
Bush is a wishy-washy polititian. He certainly meets the criteria of a successful one, I'll give him that.
But he's the best we can come up with.

Now, who is being wishy-washy ? Even when asked directly if you plan to vote for President Bush you equivocate.

BTW, did your admiration for President Reagan crawfish in 1986 when he legalized 2.7 million immigrants ?

"90% of the housing framer carpenters, sheet rock hangers, landscapers,...are all illegal immigrants that are stealing jobs away from our own underclass, and thus pushing our own poor workers into deeper poverty."

... and allowing our own welfare addicts to slouch at home on the couch, zoned out on Ophra and Jerry Springer, while waiting for their goobermit check to show up.

--------------------------------------

"And in a generation, many of these foreign laborers who are ambitious will be running construction and landscaping companies ... and become prosperous"

And you can bet your life that these same Illegal Aliens, once legalized, will immediately qualify for all the Affirmative Action programs, plans, Student loans, Small Biz loans, ad infinitum.

which is to say that I will vote either independent or Libertarian.

Psst, T. the Libertarians are for no borders. They think looking and capturing islamofascists is fascism.

"...Oh, is telling the truth tantamount to "trashing"? Again, stop mischaracterizing my statements. Prove something I said wrong either logically or factually..."

Just like I thought, you are avoiding the question, and changing the subject. I will reiterate: If you ignore the supreme court, when it interprets the constitution, because they allow abortion, you have "trashed" them. You have put them in the trash. Thrown them away. Disposed of them. Remember your own posts? Then, if you withhold your vote for GW, you throw the election to the democRATs. So; what conclusion does this lead to? I leads to a democRAT president, with a supreme court that has been disposed of. Get it? Now, show me where I'm wrong.

The full text of the Declaration is right there in the U.S. Code.

Kindly show Title and Section.

It's in the US Code.

Kindly show Title and Section.

Why?

You haven't actually demonstrated that it's in the code as organic law, as you claim.

Why is it there?

You haven't actually demonstrated that it's in the code as organic law, as you claim.

Could it be that it is important to our laws in some way?

If it is actually there, as organic law, according to your claim, your argument might have merit. You have not demonstrated this.

"If A, then B" only applies if you've actually demonstrated A.

Duh. You tell me. You stand refuted.

Actually, I don't. You stand unproven.

I don't think I need to go any further.

I provided the exact location in a url.

U.S. Code citations are not URL-based. Try again.

Want me to cut and paste the text of the Declaration right from the website and post it here?

No. I want you to provide the exact United States Code citation that, as you claim, makes the Declaration of Independence organic law.

After that, you might be able to argue that your claims about the significance of the Declaration of Independence actually have some basis.

If we take thos ABLE BODIED AMERICANS off welfare and make the work for their money and use that money (in the billions) to supplement into placing the National guard on the border to back up INS, as well as use this money to deport illegals and back end former welfare recipients with these jobs we may reach an end to illegal immigration.

Haha. I don't want one government handout shifted to another (unnecessary national guard additions). I'd rather just let the people who just want to work (which helps our economy) come here. Work/people = capital.
