BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."
Way to go B.B!

Last Ozzy concert I went to was in the 93-94 'Retirement Sucks' tour. He poked (for lack of better terms) fun at Clinton during his pre-show video montage. Great stuff.

It doesn't look like any of the radical leftists have made it to the stage yet.
There just may be an equal number of conservative-leaning types are sitting in that hall. Either that or people who are working so hard on their careers that they don't have enough time to think about politcs.

So far I'm impressed. I actually thought S&G sounded great. Norah Jones was great, John Mayer, James Taylor...
So far so good...

Apart from Yo Yo Ma, none of the classical artists featured in the pictures. What, did they sneak them all in the back and then have them escape through the sewers?

Welcome to FR. I'm sure Howlin would say "Hi", too, but she's, ahh, indisposed for the next 48 hours. I think she's taking a very long cold shower.

If Fox hadn't abandoned their normal Sunday schedule to air the X-Men movie, I might not have even caught the first hour.
I think Little Steven's doing a rerun tonight. Many cuts from the Hard Day's Night DVD (dialogue) and a number of Beatles cuts.
I caught only part of last week's broadcast and it was all Texas bands (and I think I had heard most of that broadcast awhile back).
This music is still better than the Grammys.

" saw the Stones and had to put tampax in my ears cause I thought I would go deaf from the noise. It humiliated my daughter and her friends,,she still cannot hear them without seeing those strings falling from my ears." LOL - good one!
The Stones are in their 60's. Geritol + crank snort = 2003 Stone concert.

Great minds think alike. I hope you both are right. I can't stand these people. Downloading of these people's albums is probably steaming ahead at this moment. So? He'll lose out on a few millions.

Tampax!! ROFL!! I saw Diana Ross about 18 years ago and stuffed every piece of napkin I could find in my ears. We were in the 3rd row and it was deafening!

ok, you people have made me tune in for the sole purpose of seeing if any idiots run their mouths. THANKS A LOT! :)

Welcome to Free Republic! Fasten your seatbelt - it can sometimes be a bumpy ride, but it's the greatest site for intelligent political discussion on the entire Net.
I'm out here on the Left Coast - it's only a little after 6:00. Wasn't planning on watching the Grammys anyway, but love the live Freeper thread.

Apparently they didn't whack him hard enough!

I love Glenn Miller as well. At least someone has some sense over there. (With sadness, MoJo can't turn it on right now. Junkyard Wars happens to be a 2 hour special tonight..LOL) I don't want to go upstairs to watch the grammy's. LOL!

Hey, I saw Elvis before he was famous too. And I saw Pat Boone when he was still in college because he was a friend of my best friend's brother. He came to their house one weekend and we all sat around the piano and sang songs. I thought he was really weird because all the guys I knew wore boots and he had on funky white shoes. Yuk.
