BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."
Way to go B.B!

I can actually claim (and be telling the truth) that my mom's seen the Rolling Stones Same here with my husband. He saw them in 1969 and our college son took him to their concert just this past fall in 2002. Thank God it wasn't the one Clinton was going to be at or I would have nixed the whole trip! HA!

coldplay is up for an award. They said something very anti-american the other day (believe they are british) and my theory that since they'll peform, they'll win guarantees that we will hear some kind of anti-war/anti-bush pretty soon (unless someone beats them to the punch.

Anyone know if the Skater-Punk-Princess is performing tonight? (Avril L) From what I saw of the bumper, she is (I've tuned out now but am still following the thread).
What differentiates her from the Pre-fab Four (aka the Monkees)?

A lot of it.

Has anyone spewed any Anti-American, Anti-Bush, Anti-War crap yet? If not, that's pretty amazing. No..and I doubt they will, now that I think about it.
Chris Martin of COldplay did it a couple of nights ago at the BRIT Awards.
And he IS playing tonight.
But Ill bet his US record label ordered him to keep a muzzle on it tonight.
Ill bet he wimps out. Its sooo brave of him to spout off anti-Bush statements in Britain.
But he doesnt have the guts to do it here.

I'll bet the Coldplay idiot will keep his mouth shut.
Their albums are absolutely fantastic, and I would imagine he would like to keep selling them.
I'll bet there were a lot of managers and PR people explaining reality to these knuckleheads - "If you don't mind selling a million less records, open your stupid mouth."

God Bless your boyfriend for his service to America. God Bless you for keeping the faith and loving a man devoted to serving America. As for my tagline, I'm so darn cheesy. If there's a space or place to do something, I can't just leave it alone. LOL!! Although, I do believe in supporting our troops by living our lives and not living in fear!

Hold onto that thought Spookie. You'll have to tell me what Coldplay does. The lead singer was bashing our President in his home country of England. He better not bring that crap here!

I saw the Stones and had to put tampax in my ears cause I thought I would go deaf from the noise. It humiliated my daughter and her friends,,she still cannot hear them without seeing those strings falling from my ears. At RFK, not so long ago. Heck, I saw Elvis before he was famous as well as Bo Didley,,I am old.
