BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."

Way to go B.B!

Norah is running out of people to thank.

Reminds me of Christopher Cross in (1980?).
She probably will have the same shelf life.

I wouldn't be surprised if they told quite a number of entertainers that. Wonder if the advertisers had something to say about it also ... I have no problem boycotting them over this.

BTW, Simon and Garfunkel sounding bad.

Cyndi Lauper. What a has been.

She looked a litle uncomfortable up there.

How come I've never heard of Norah Jones?

Because she's a "new artist" and has had quite a rise in the last year. Her album is on Blue Note (I don't know if any of the majors own the label or distribution).

Good to see a Texas native win so many awards.

I was watching OZ too. Hubby and I are wondering what to watch on Sundays from now on, now that it's over! Poor Cyril - that really got me when they executed him. That was a great show, though.

Norah's fourth Grammy was for best new artist. It was almost a gimme. You could see her in the audience almost wishing that she wouldn't win it, she's so shy.

He wasn't saluting. I rewound it. The lyric were " I am looking out for something" and he puts his hand over his eyebrow, like he is looking for something in the distance.

Out of touch with pop culture? Not that there is anything wrong with that.... ;)
