AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 760) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | February 19, 2003 | All of Us

Posted on 02/19/2003 4:43:37 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Still a lot of snow out there, though it has melted down from 20 1/2" of snowpak to 17". More melting due today.

Donna Brazile lectures members of the Criminal Party yesterday, telling them they had better listen to Al Sharpton.

The left is believing President Bush is making more allusions to faith in his speeches and is concerned about that.

And Canada says it will not join in a "solo" (non-UN authorized) attack on Iraq.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

No, they want more American dollars first.

Here's Letterman's Top Ten list from last night. I love #2.
Top Ten Good Things About Having 19.8 Inches Of Snow In New York City presented by NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg

10. "Footprints in snow make finding fleeing criminals a snap"

9. "As if by magic, all potholes are filled"

8. "Makes Hartford's 17.5 inches look pathetic"

7. "Dude, the snowboarding has been righteous"

6. "The city's never been so salty"

5. "I made a hundred bucks in overtime shoveling at Gracie Mansion"

4. "Shot in the arm for city's struggling toboggan industry"

3. "Instead of 90 miles per hour, cabs traveling a more reasonable 60 miles per hour"

2. "Any Broadway show can legitimately add the phrase 'On Ice'"

1. "Yesterday I got to run New York City from home in my robe"

IDIOT ALERT...

Here's a quote from David Shuster on Chris Matthews last night. Just imagine if this new "superpower" had weapons of mass destruction.

"The size of the demonstrators at least here, at least in Europe, seems to underscore, Chris, that there are now perhaps two world superpowers. There's the United States and then there are those millions of people who took to the streets opposing U.S. policy."

Our state is very concerned about flooding along the Ohio R.

There have been a few alerts for the Mississippi for forecasted flooding that have come across the weather wire, but none yet for the Ohio.

Despite McCain's telling Carter to SHUT UP, he slipped in a snide comment about President Bush being 'selected'.......twice. The man is not to be trusted under any circumstances. His using that hateful phrase that is repeated endlessly by carvile, begala, and her heinous infuriates me.

Turkey? Blackmail!!!!

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion. Turkey is very concerned about the damage strikes from Iraq would have on their economy and would like, as part of working with the United States, some "insurance" against such an event.

The United States agrees with them. What is at issue is how large that "check" should be made out for, and that is what they are negotiating.

Don't suppose that either of these two idiots mentioned that more people show up to celebrate the Yankees winning the world series than showed up near the UN......

Of course not, that would put things into perspective. Media sure doesn't want to do that.
