Perhaps if I had Fox News I would get used to it. I do feel like it's an essential part of any package we might consider. But I have been very disappointed, when I watch it at my parents' place, at how much time they spend on honest-to-goodness garbage news. It's like they can't wait to break the latest fluff news. That, to me, is not worth it.

However, I will consider calling Direct TV. That's what my parents have and, I think, my sister too.

It turned out that Gizmo had almost been done in by his own kind — almost. The pooch had bitten the nose off his favorite toy, a talking Taco Bell Chihuahua doll.

Hey, Dog, I have a to-your-door vet coming on Saturday. Cassie needs shots, heartworm test, NAILS CLIPPED, and she has an ear problem.

This lady does only house calls, usually with large animals (Cassie qualifies). The funny thing is she thinks she knows the litter Cassie came from, because she adopted one and she has a friend who adopted one as well. Cassie was about 2 months old when we got her, so it is possible she got loose from whoever adopted her and got picked up. Anyway, the vet's dog got hit by a car and killed, so she is anxious to see Cassie. Isn't that the strangest coincidence?

She is a good vet...takes care of my brother's mother-in-law's horse and his dogs.

This is a good deal, because I have been unable to take Cassie to a vet clinic by myself, as she is likely to see a CAT and then there would be a disaster.

Mr HOB and I are planning to start the program. He has put thewonus on me to find out the particulars. How did you both go about getting your information in terms of forbidden foods and portion control?

Watching Fox News is like reading the New York Post.

Good political coverage, but they feel like they also need to cover car chases and movie stars. You take the bad with the good. If you had suffered without Fox under the reign of CNN, you would understand. LOL!

Utah Girl, I heard that too about the photos on Fox, and this was reported also: that the photos would show the "bad" stuff leaving the facility in the rear, as the inspectors arrive at the front.

Now that does constitute something of a "smoking gun", without placing our troops at extra risk.

She called me a little while ago. Says she feels ok as long as she doesn't move. She is going to stay an extra day in the hospital as she will be staying with my other sister when she leaves.

She said the worst part was that she was starting to turn black and blue all over her abdomen.

Here's a start

Mr. M. and I highly recommend that you buy his book The New Diet Revolution. I bought it in paperback at Wal-Mart.

Stay away from anything labeled lowfat. Use cream instead of milk, eat green veggies, meat..eggs...whole milk cheeses, real butter....no bread/cracker/bakery-type products or pasta..no margarine.

Let me check out a few more sites.
