Commenting on the defeat of the twin tax proposals in Virginia, the governor, Slick Jr., said it was now up to his opponents to figure out how to fix the transportation problem.

Isn't that just like a demoflop? You didn't let me play my way, so I'm taking my ball and going home.

Pathetic!

SD will be ours, so will La in the runoff, not that it matters anymore.

Folks, now is the time to thank OUR Lord for what He has done. The president, done by design. The Senate, done by design, we are turning a point in our history and its to turn this country back to God.

As I personally heard Bob Shrum say to Bill Clinton a week ago Monday on the southbound Acela Express to Newark:

"Mr. President. I can't thank you enough for everything you are doing for the party!"

Good and glorious morning all you wonderful people.

It is a great day to be a Republican. The only disappointments I have are that we now have a dem for governor in TN (although the outgoing Republican gov was a true RINO) and we lost our House seat to a dem.

BTW, the reason we lost that House seat is that Van Hilery was our Rep and he decided to run for governor. I still can't believe he lost to the dem. And it looks like the dems are going to push through a state income tax.

Huge Construction Begins at White House

Crews arrived at the White House this morning for an emergency constrution job. Ground was broken for a huge addition to the White house. A huge room said to contain the worlds largest bank vault is to be constructed. Aids said such a vault is desperately needed to hold President Bush's political capital.

Reports have it the White House staff had called every huge banking firm in the world, but nothing has ever been built big enough to hold the Bush Political Capital.

It occurred to me last night that we weren't watching a midterm, we were watching the last round of the 2000 election, which the Democrats refused to concede. They no longer need to; the people did it for them. Let's just say that the voters know the facts better now than they did two years ago.

Among the issues of 2000 that can now be closed is the judiciary. If we really do have the Senate we get the judges . Also, it'll be payback time on the Senate floor. Anybody remember the Ashcroft hearings? Anybody remember Hillary refusing to let Thurman pair out? The Democrats messed with the Senate. You don't mess with the Senate. The gentlemanly rules and the traditions there are there for a reason. Hillary is about to find out why. I hope our folks will have the patience to watch it out, because payback won't be in the open. Our guys know the game. Look for the small clues, the little rulings and procedures. All those knives in the backs of our team will not be put into the drawer. The Hillary caucus ought not walk alone down Senate hallways...

My particular joy from last night comes in the No. VA vote on the sales tax increase. The public-transportation freaks teamed up with the developers and the greens got with the anti-tax conservatives -- what a lovely mess, and look who won! All brought on by greed at the County Council. The waling pain over at Fairfax Center this morning warms my heart. I love free enterprise, but I despise business won through politics. Greed is a productive vice; greed in public office is the worst sin. The County Council got lost in a maze of condos. Once again, we learn that government control of business means business control of government. The voters understood this last night, and chose to take back a slice of their franchise.

Good morning, ALL.......and it is another great day dawning on the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. The re-election of Senator Wayne Allard over the filthy, liberal, clinton-worshipping tom strickland was a wonderful victory for Colorado! Hugh Hewitt played a quote over and over for the past week from strickland from a debate with Senator Allard. strickland said, "America's enemy isn't a particular group of terrorists, nor an ideology, but the great feeling of hopelessness and despair in the world."

If I ever run into tom strickland, I'm going to ask him if he thinks it was hopelessness and despair that hijacked airplanes and flew them into buildings and fields.
This man was nearly elected to the U.S. Senate.

In Colorado's new 7th District, which includes me, the race is not over, and I am very concerned. Bob Beauprez, a fine Conservative Christian man, is only leading the reprehensible mike feely by 48% to 47%. feely is another democrat that Hugh Hewitt not only quoted for the last 2 weeks, but was also ripped to shreds by Hugh during an interview on Hugh's radio show. feely clearly SHOT OFF HIS HUGE ORAL ORIFICE about "Chickenhawk Republicans running for office who haven't served in uniform." Hugh confronted feely with this and it was obvious that feely could not defend it and had thrown a temper tantrum when he had said it.
Apparently, thousands of mail-in ballots had the wrong due date on them and the results are uncertain. I'm VERY concerned that this horrible democrat party is going to figure out a way to steal this and I'm going to go from Tom Tancredo's representation to this shooting-off-at-the-mouth, temper tantrum throwing adolescent democrat.
I'm not sure when we will find out.

As great as the victory was for us Republicans and for America, I am still EXTREMELY CONCERNED. The reason I say this is because so many races are so close, when they should be landslides for the Republicans, or, if they are close, that's close between the Republican and the Libertarian, or close between the Republican and the Constitution Party Candidate, or even close between the Republican and the Green Party Candidate, or even close between the Republican and the Reform Party Candidate, or close between the Republican and the Independent Candidate, etc., but NOT the democrat. It greatly concerns me that after those horrible 8 years and after 9/11 and after the amazing leadership of President Bush, the VAST MAJORITY of the American people still don't get it.

Just as slavery was ABOLISHED, the democrat, the party of bill clinton, the party of algore, the party of terry macauliffe, the party of jesse jackson and al sharpton, the party of robert byrd, the party of tom daschle, the party of ted kennedy, the party of larry flynt, the party of al-Qaeda, the party of Commmunist North Korea, the party of Saddam, the party of lies, filth, race-baiting, lawlessness, socialism, treachery, perjury, obstruction of justice, abuse of power, obfuscation, confusion, pornography, hate, and death, should also be ABOLISHED.
