AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 655) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | November 6, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 11/06/2002 4:31:08 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

THE SENATE HAS BEEN LIBERATED!!!

THE DASHCLEAN CAPTIVITY HAS COME TO AN END!!!

In the pre-game analysis yesterday, the media pundits, the media talking heads, the leftist prognasticators who are all visionary gave the following pronouncements:

The demoflops would either take control of the House or reduce the GOP majority.

The demoflops would hold on to, or increase, their majority in the Senate.

The demoflops would take a majority of the state houses.

The demoflops would win in the state of Florida.

Now that the game has been played, and the contest settled, it is time to look at the scoreboard.

The headline in today's Washington Pravda says it all:

GOP WINS BOTH HOUSES

1. House - demoflops FAILED. The GOP has at least maintained their current majority. The current status is:

GOP - 226
Criminal Party - 204
Can't Decide Which Party - 1

There are still four races that have not been decided. These are:

CO 07 - GOP leading 48-46% with 88% counted
LA 05 - headed to runoff, 3 GOP candidates with 66% of the vote
NM 01 - GOP losing 49-51% with 98% counted
TX 23 - GOP losing 47-52% with 74% counted

2. Senate - demoflops FAILED. The GOP has gained absolute majority. The widow Carnahan has lost her race, so applying Missouri law, Daschle is no longer the Illigitimate Majority Leader, and resumes his correct title of Minority Leader.

LATE BREAKING - MINNESOTA CALLED FOR COLEMAN!

GOP - 51
Criminal Party - 46
Can't Decide Which Party - 1

There are still two races left to call:

Louisiana - headed to runoff, 3 GOP candidate with 51% of the vote South Dakota - Thune(R) leads by 949 votes with 99% counted

3. Governors - demoflops FAILED. The GOP retains a majority of the state houses.

GOP - 26
Criminal Party - 19
Can't Decide Which Party - 0

There are still five races to decide:

AL - Incumbent demoflop leads by 3,139 with 100% counted. Likely recount.
AZ - GOP losing 44-47% with 99% counted. Likely recount.
OK - GOP losing by 6,357 votes. Likely recount.
OR - GOP losing 47-48% with 76% counted.
VT - GOP leading 45-42% (13% for 8 minor candidates) with 96% counted.

The demoflops hoped to legitimize Carnahan. They failed.

The demoflops hoped to win in Minnesota with Mondale. They failed.

The demoflops hoped to cashier Jeb Bush in Florida. They failed. JEB WINS BY SEVEN POINTS! NO RECOUNTS, HANGING CHADS, OR MISSING ELECTRONS HERE!!

The demoflops hoped the voters in Northern Virginia and Tidewater Virginia would willingly vote to raise their own taxes. They failed - on both counts.

The demoflops hoped to make the election a referendum that would denounce the President. The President picked up the gauntlet. THE DEMOFLOPS FAILED IN EVERY CATEGORY POSSIBLE!

IT IS A COMPLETE DEFEAT FOR THE CRIMINAL PARTY.

Tomorrow - we get down to business. But...

TODAY - WE RELISH OUR FULL VICTORY.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

2000 elections SHANNON County Bush 1667 Gore 252

That is incorrect, with Bush and Gore vote totals reversed. This has always been a lib county, albeit always a thousand votes fewer than this time. The other thread has a table with several years of results showing so a bit after the initial misposting. There's plenty real stuff to be mad about, so lets stick to the truth.

"O?Brien attacked her opponent for belonging to a sinister, alien church -"

O`brien fades away into obscurity.

I know very few people that claimed to be for her.

What a shrew she truly is. Some nerve of her.

She the advocate of paying for secret abortions for minors with my money!

She is going to criticize someone's religion?

Hey all...

Lots of sad democrat faces at work today. I just smiled all day long.

I asked one guy what he thought of the elections. He said "They sucked..." If I had a cigar I would have given him one.

Damn it feels good to be a conservative today. You knew this day would come. Clinton Never had this success, and these Clinton kool aid drinkers will never admit that Bush is responsible for much of it.

Clinton continues to look like a baffoon.

I think I will have a cigar!

Forgive me if this has already been posted, but I think the following post from that South Dakota thread (Johnson Now Leads Thune) kind of sums up what we're talking about in Shannon County and elsewhere. This is from a freeper named "tanakamaria" and she grew up on a reservation so is ideally suited to get this kind of report and judge its veracity. This is her report.
Okay folks, I know we all know the Dems cheated on the reservations, but I just talked to a poll worker on the phone from the Cheyenne River Reservation and what she told me made me sick.

She said there were absentee ballots that were obviously fake, all kinds of people voting that were not old enough to vote, people showing up to vote with absentee ballots that they didn't request. She said the Dems brought in lawyers from Washington DC and Indiana, and that they were heavily pressuring the poll workers to accept and count the questionable ballots.

She is also sure that lots of the voters were paid to come in and vote. One man and woman came in stinking drunk to vote, and when they got in the booth the man asked the woman "So how much cheese are we going to get for voting?" Don't laugh, I am not making that up. She said that if some of the voters that came in were 18 years old, then she had the Brooklyn Bridge to sell me. They don't have to show ID to vote, their names were on the rolls, so they had to let them vote.

I asked her opinion on Shannon County, and she said she was sure that they left that til last so they could see how many votes they needed. She works in a relatively small precinct (200 or so voters) so I can only imagine what went on in the larger areas.

She also said the Dem lawyers breathed down their neck the whole time and were obnoxious beyond belief. She said she can understand how all that crud went on in Florida because the people that came in were the stupidest people on the planet. She said they didn't know how to vote, they didn't know how to do anything.

I was surrounded by depressed liberals at work too, but I kept my distance as much as I could. One of my bosses I will have to watch for signs that he may be suicidal, I'm afraid.

Do you think a cigar would cheer him up?

I sometimes watch the media and really wonder if any of them ever studied presidents and the use of power.

I think it was in 1948 or so that we started noticing that Truman had no coat tails. Then Ike got elected and was very popular but had no coat tails. Then came Kennedy and no coat tailes. Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr. and then Clitnon had no coat tails.

Now we know Dubya has coat tails. Imus said they were longer than the train on Princess Di's wedding dress. Well they certainly were long. Even FDR did not do what Bush Did. FDR won in a landslide in 1932. He won both houses of congress. He increased that lead in 34 and again in 38.

But bush started from a razor thin margin. And went from not having control to haveing control of the senate. For that we have to go back at least 100 years. ... That Teddy Roosevelt fellow did it... You know the one whose face is on Mt. Rushmore? That Roosevelt. He did it too.

Now today the Democrats and the media are all filled with how the Democrats are going to make it tough on Bush. 51 or 52 votes is a long way from 60. Well here are some facts. George Bush has proved that he can defeat Democrats running for relection when history says he can't. Im 2004 history says most presidents who are re-elected pick up 10 seats in the Senate.

When Bush wants a bunch of judges or homeland security or a hundred other bills passed. He calls Joe C Democrat (term ending 2004) on the phone. And says sorry to hear you are going to vote against cloture. I have ordered Carl Rowe to see what we can do about getting a really attrative guy to take you out in 2004. I will spend at least a week in your district. What happens is the Democrat says what will it cost me to keep you out of my re-election efforts. Bush says vote for me a lot and I'll think about it. You know that sometime I am a greatful guy and reward my friends. Nice talking to you. Don't talk too much in the Senate.

That Senator calls Daschle and says ... Tom I can't vote with you. Bush will destroy me.... I will vote for cloture. By the time that Daschle has 8 or 9 of those. He announces that what Bush wants to do is wonderful and he plans to work for its passage.

That is what happens to Democrat when faced with a Republican president with coat tails. The game of polictics is hardball and not the Chris Matthews type.

About next June expect the media to startreferring to Bush as the "GREAT COMMUNICATOR II" .. They will say he brings those democrats into his office and they leave and vote for him. What powers of persuasion. As skilled as Reagan.

Those that think the Democrats can hold 41 of their guyes in line to sustain fillibuster ain't never seen their guys hands tied with coat tails.... You have to go back to the 30's find cases. But bush understands what Coat tails are for. They are often quite valuable in controling people who have yet to have a direct experience with the Bush tails. I can tell you they will wish to avoid them.

As Max Cleland said a couple of days ago... I will not do what George Bush wants. He can't defeat me.

There are now prospective Democrat filibusters who know better.

Sounds like Gephardt is resigning as HMinority leader tomorrow....

I'm surprised there isn't more pressure on Daschle to do likewise....

Here's another thread on the latest news from South Dakota: Whats going on in S.D.?

According to someone there, Thune can either call for a recount or he can call for a federal investigation into vote fraud, but he cannot do both. I hope he calls for an investigation.
