Regarding your link to the fines handed out to the Dems, I had always figured such fines went unpaid because, just like Hugh Rodham, nothing was ever enforced, as far as I could tell. But it seems like PoliticalMoneyLine.com is following up. Now THAT'S good news.

Thanks for the link, Mo. Our local John and Ken show has been hammering hard and heaping ridicule on this (they call him Joe Davis because his first name is Joseph - heehee). Movers/shakers have tried for years to get a bullet train from L.A. to Las Vegas and that makes sense. But from southern Cal to Sacramento? Puh-leez!

Their show goes on at 3 and two hours later, the fund-raiser was cancelled so they laughed a lot about that. As A CA Guy posted in the article, the money was probably already in Davis' pocket. But every little bit helps - radio shows, FReeps, VOTES! - all of it. And Simon has become very active.
