We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The Washington Pravda is reporting this morning that the President intends to tell the UN that, unless they take "quick, unequivocably strong action to disarm Iraq," the United States will have do the job by itself.
And a case of West Nile may have appeared in Los Angeles, which would be the first in the western United States.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

A 3-hour tour! If I get on that boat and meet two women named Ginger and Mary Ann, I'm getting off immediately.

Back for awhile to tell this mission story I heard the other night at our "Spiritual Disciplines for Ordinary People" Session.
It is true and happened to a teenager...Toby.
Toby was 16, and wanted to go to Africa on a mission with other young people from his church.But since he was very fair, his mother made him promise to always wear long sleeve shirts and plenty of sunscreen. He agreed, and off he went....
One day, in the marketplace of the little town where Toby was completing his work, a man approached him...about Toby's shirt.
The man had never seen a long-sleeved shirt and wished he could have it.
But remembering his promise, Toby sadly refused to part with it, and that night in his tent, after his friends had gone to sleep, for the first time since he was a little boy, Toby cried himself to sleep.
When he returned home, Toby told his mother what happened, and she responded that she'd always known he had the quality of mercy, and would figure out what to do.
And so Toby set to work in his church and community collecting longsleeve shirts...
When he had collected 1500, he sent them off to Africa, with a note on the top shirt, for the man whose request Toby had had to refuse weeks earlier.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
One message of the presentation we watched Wed. night was that mercy is Spirit put into action. Toby's story was used to illustrate this quality.
That article about how President Bush is still going to fight for Owen is the best news I've read today. The Dems, if it is possible at all to shame and embarrass them, will be shamed and embarrassed when Americans really find out what they're doing to the judicial appointees President Bush is selecting.
To: Molly Pitcher
Cool story, Molly.
To: MozartLover
That's great!! Wow, Thurs. night my thoughts about what might happen were all over the place.
And YOURS...well, you had a tough evening!
Now you can look forward to those long-distance messages!;^)
To: Mr. Mulliner; kayak
I agree about the Owens matter. The Dems have gone too far this time. Not good to mess with a very popular judge from TEXAS.
To: Molly Pitcher
And when the Republicans take back the Senate in November, I'm thinking that Owen and Pickering should be at the top of the list for judicial nominees to be re-submitted. Wouldn't the Dems whine big-time???
To: Utah Girl
Owen's "crime" is upholding the law that requires parental consent for abortion. That issue has never been one the Dems can win on, and yet thanks to the way the media has covered this most people are completely unaware of why she was rejected.
Another point that I bet most people don't know is that she didn't even get a chance to have the floor of the Senate vote. Thanks so much, Jeffords!
To: Utah Girl
Yes they would whine, but I could stand that if they were POWERLESS to do anything about it.
To: Molly Pitcher
Oh yeah, I know seeking revenge is not a good thing to do, but it would be nice to have some of the same nominees at least get a vote on the Senate floor. And the Dems would whine about being powerless too, except this time it would be by votes by Americans instead of coercion and sellouts by Daschle and Jeffords.
Blair is on his way to Camp David..
