We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The Washington Pravda is reporting this morning that the President intends to tell the UN that, unless they take "quick, unequivocably strong action to disarm Iraq," the United States will have do the job by itself.
And a case of West Nile may have appeared in Los Angeles, which would be the first in the western United States.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Good morning you two!
I enjoyed the Steyn piece, and the WSJ post.

AND A GOOD RAINEY A.M. TO ALL IN OUR COFFEE SHOP BUNCH FROM THE SWAMPS OF THE MS GULF COAST, USA, Want some rain? we gots lots to spare. When I was fixing my coffee pot at 4:30 in the A.M. my motion detector porch outside light came on from the rain falling, now thats what you call rain.
Listen up Farve fans, he is getting a little older as the years go by and being a product of THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI we felt we needed to start trainning another QB for ya'll and we are, big time at that. He is the current QB from USM, a lad by the name of D'Angelo, he has all the makings of a Farve. If this is not good enough for you, look at the Ole Miss QB, ELI MANNING to/wit a brother of Peyton Manning, we gotta watch out for you, ya know.
More football news, Brooks QB for the saints held out for more money and got it, 36 million over 6 years, that will surely buy you some red beans a rice, not to see if he can produce a winner, I doubt it, the Saints have a voodoo curse on them and, the dome is built on a forgotten voodoo cemetary, the got the spell on them.
Heard a good one this A.M on MSNBC, its BUSH's fault the way the press approaches the Iraq problem. Yep, he holds a gun to their heads and MAKES them print the junk they do but then again, what can yoy expect from such idiots. Bush has no problem stating his intentions, get rid of SayDamn.
Folks, it is most important that we take the house and senate, it is a must and I want to ask you to please pray on this matter, some sanity must come to the United States of America and a republican house and senate can do just that. While I pray on this myself, I am keep you all up to God to keep you free from illnesses and injuries and please, please, please, pray for OUR President W, just think of the problems he has on his shoulders. Prayers for the elderly, a bunch of us that are just a little slower in our movements but filled with lots of love for all who will accept it. Have a good day.
To: Jemian
Jemian, kinda 'fun' getting rid of a illness, right? Bet it makes your illness 'happy'. Hurry up and get well, OK?
To: Chairman_December_19th_Society
Chair, when OUR President QW tells them 'quick' he means 'yesterday'. Our Prez don't mence words and I think the UN knows they are not being told something by 'Zipper Gate' Clinton, they are being told by a MAN of principle. I say it time for us to 'stand on the docks and wave goodbye to the UN as they sail off into the sunset', remember when this was said?
To: gulfcoast6
That was the Ambassador to the UN under Reagan...can't remember his name. Great quote, though!
Send us some rain, please!
To: Miss Marple
OK, putting in an order for some rain for you right now. Gotta tell you, I thought I had made everyone mad for a while, I post and then no one comes on for a lot later, then you post, thanks, makes me feel better.
THE dumb act of the day, get up, go to turn my AC on, hallway dark, I missed, turned on the heat instead, no wonder I thought it was hotter than usual.
To: gulfcoast6
LOL! My granddaughter did that to me a couple of weeks ago. I thought I was getting sick because I was so hot and the blower was running...then I see she turned the furnace on on the thermostat. Ha!
To: Molly Pitcher
Molly, I signed up for Best of the Web via e-mail a few weeks ago. For the first 2-3 weeks they were on vacation, but now that it's back I love it as a way to quickly and easily find out the day's scuttlebutt.
And the Mark Steyn editorial was good even though it was much more serious than usual. The most entertaining part, though, was the sparring between MadIvan and paulklenk.
To: Mr. Mulliner
LOL! I read that, too!
To: M Kehoe
I read that Ann Coulter a few days ago. She sure doesn't mind stirring up controversy, does she?
I just started her new book this week. I got it from ABE Books for $12. I told my wife I couldn't wait until it was in the library and I wasn't willing to pay $25 for it so this was a good solution.
To: Miss Marple
Did you read my post on last night's thread about the e-mail I got from one of my bosses at Vandy? I feel better about it today, but was extremely ticked off about it last night when it came.
It was an article from The Progressive Magazine, a complete trashing of President Bush and his Iraq plans. It calls for demonstrations and I'm sure the next few weeks we'll be seeing major demonstrations on nearly all university campuses.
This guy sent it to everyone in our department out of "concern." I think it's extremely unprofessional and out of bounds. Makes me not want to go in to work anymore. But this morning the redeeming thought I had is that his actions are extremely immature and closed minded, but the grown ups are in charge now -- and I'm one of the grown ups.
To: Mr. Mulliner
I just started her new book this week. We'll expect a book review next week. ;^)
