Woe is me! They shall continue until I get a BIT more info about doing this re-install.I tried an online virus detection prog last night, and it crashed the PC.I am rightly concerned about which files i will lose doing this re-install.

Itty bitty, can you please clarify for me?

Well....if you do the Win98 re-install, you won't lose anything that is not already corrupted (which you can't get anyway). Just be careful doing the re-install; if it asks you to format the disks -- DON'T!!!!

Petting the cow...LOL

I didn't even think of that. Really unusual for me. I think I need another cup of coffee.

Did you all see that story about the CEO from New York, and the penny? I loved it, and told everyone that story yesterday. It made my day!

Best of all, after I read that story yesterday morning, I drove to school, parked the car, and started to head into the building. As I was walking across the parking lot I spied a penny. I immediately stopped, found the words, In God We Trust, said a prayer of thanks, and put it in my pocket! Small miracles never cease.

I will be glad to re-tell the story if you don't know what I am talking about!

Thanks Jane, and I'm thinking I may drag Bit into my muddled thinking and get his help.

The question has to do with what is unique and subjective about our various experiences vs what is transcendent and universal over time, place, etc....But need to sort it out more and frame my confusion in an understandable way. LOL!

Right now I can't even remember what triggered the other day my awareness of the discrepancies...Pathetic!

Am proud to be pinging such a great Lass from the Northern Country.

How is the weather by you, sweetie?

We have been blessed with warm days, and cool nights. We are heading into my favorite time of year. I just love Autumn. Rememberences of hunting all day with dad and my brothers, in forests of crimson and gold, bringing home the grouse, and watching dad clean the guns, while sitting in front of a blazing hearth brings such joy to this fair son.

The geese are starting to stretch those wings as they begin to prepare for their migration. I watched 3 flocks land in a field yesterday morning, as I made my way to school. Best of all the field was shrouded with ground fog, so the geese just evaporated into the fog as they landed. Incredible sight!

Glad to hear it Cotey!! Hark!! I hear the sound of skate blades being sharpened...yes, its that time of year again, when hope springs eternal for long suffering fans of underachieving hockey teams, like the Ottawa Senators...when there is true parity on the NHL, before even a game is played ;-)

Thanks, cote. Appreciate your input. Wish I'd written down my question when I first thought of it...sigh...

Husband who (ahem) is slow getting going this morning AND listening to NPR (ahem..ahem..)just reported this to me:

Linda Wertheimer said that those people who have been briefed by the Administration on the Iraq situation appear genuinely shaken.
