Good morning everyone!
An article posted overnight reminds me that the 2002 elections are not far away.
Here in ATRW land we're paying attention to the N.J. Senate race, and the Maryland Gov. race.
Next Tuesday, there are more primaries, and we can expect more and more polls.
Yippee!! NOT!
And the 2002 Summer Vacation Season winds down.
Chairman, have a perfectly wonderful vacation, and return to us rested and recharged!

Actually the facilitator manual is pretty slim. I'm there to guide discussion and allow each person to figure out how what we are learning applies to their own individual life.
I hope you have found a church that is more suitable to your family. I really like mine. Our Sr. Minister is pretty blunt in his sermons and I like that.

Hi, kinda catch as catch can for now. Should have a couple mornings free so can drop in as well as now to 5pm. I miss FR but am just glad to get here when I am able. Plus, it is good to be working again. Boss man asked me if I was interested in learning the forklift, he has trained 3 men in the last 3 months, they all left. A little wary, methinks. I think it would be a good skill to learn and anyplace that is anyplace usually has a forklift. Don't tell bossman I said that, though...

there is one special person who has quite a knack for analyzing things political and expressing them quite well ..... as well as having a marvelous wit ...... and he is known as Common Tator! I knew there was something wrong with that list! Thanks for the addition.
Would have answered sooner, but had to drop off and go to the store to purchase school supplies. Our church is collecting them for disadvantaged children and they need to be delivered to the distribution point by tomorrow. Hopefully, we will be able to supply a couple of school rooms full of children. (That sentence doesn't come out right, but you get my drift - I hope.)

TEXAS is of all things a little warm!

I got away with murder as a child because I had Shirley Temple blonde curls. My favorite way of getting my way was to stare soulfully at the intended victim and sigh!

W., go for the forklift training!!
Your boss thinks you can do it....I think you can do it....and your boss will be very grateful!!!
BTW, is it dangerous?

"
How's your daughter and youngest son?"
Boychild is better but still has a nasty cold. But he and other boychild......bless their little hearts.......went and helped an elderly nun from our church move into a new apartment today; she needed a couple of "heavy lifters.":) They both made the surpeme sacrifice of getting up a couple of hours earlier than usual; they were exhausted but they did it with willing hearts. Can't ask for more than that.:)
Girlchild is better too. I believe she weathered the storm.:) I tried to tell her that we ALL have down days now & then. I think she's getting the idea that it's OK to not feel perky and cheerful and "up" all the time, and it doesn't mean she's necessarily heading into another slump.

To all you lovely people,
I feel badly about not being here much lately to chat with y'all but things have been so extremely hectic this week for me. All is well; just busy.
Tomorrow night I'm playing for a concert for which I feel not very well prepared (through no fault of my own). Once that is over with I will surely be around more. Also have been scrambling to complete paperwork for college-children, insurance snafus, etc. etc. etc.
The good news is that since starting CPAP treatment for my sleep apnea I have the energy to DEAL with all of this. Just not enough time to freep.:(
I'll be back when.....and as often.....as I can!
Hugs to all!

So your son has a nasty cold? I'm glad it wasn't something worse, I was worried the other night when you took him to Express Care.

Yes, isn't is amazing what President Bush has been able to do within the last 18 months. He is magic, being able to cause floods in Europe because a treaty wasn't signed. Stupid kids.

I'll make sure I face south that day, and don't inhale.
It's not that far to Cleveland, and I might be overcome by the stench.
