thank you for posting them
I love them
I think you are a great artist (you prolly dont realize this)
there is quiet simplicity in all your pics which make them easy on the eye

hi westy
I'm sorry I wasn't around last night
I got caught up lurking on one of the WWF LP threads
they were insulting each other, the insults made me laugh
I see boys are better at insulting than girls (they have more talent, verve, wit)
maybe they get more of a kick out of fighting
altho for my side (the girls' side) one girl said an insult which hit the mark of truth
boys have flair for passion
girls have flair for truth

and house right on water
lol that was always my dream

I bet from those high windows you could look out at water
there is nothing so pretty as water

Good morning P-V, I heard someone talking about me so I decided to come up for air...can't stay long tho coz my Romantic Weekend is quickly coming to an end, so I have to make sure I get enough to store in reserve till the next time.

Yep.. the kids grew up on the pond.. We added a pool in the back yard, but we always had a boat and the kids all water skiid, rafted etc.
The neighborhood was a great place for them to grow up.. All the neighbors stuck together, partied together and helped each other. The houses were always passed down to the younger generation or the kids moved into the neighborhood.. We really hated to leave it. It was a camp type neighborhood.. We lived there 35 years..and we still go down on occasion to see them all.. We did learn of a couple recent deaths tho that made us sad..
We saw lots of storms off that back porch, because we all loved bad weather and lightening storms.. We used to have storm parties.. and of course we had some floods..but never bothered our house.. The Blizzard of 78 was a blast in that neighborhood let me tell ya.. lol We had some fun..
The people that bought our house are a lot like us and have lots of company and parties.. They have a party boat now, and I took the pics off it.

today I turned to latest articles instead of latest posts on FR
my impression is the rot is too deep now to be stopped
maybe Bush's administration could have transformed things when they first got in
(if they had a mind to)
I think their idea was to turn things back to before the gangster president had sway
I don't fault President Bush
the rot in some things was entrenched long time
(I read revealing article bout war on drugs)
in political news, seems they dont want pubbie to win governor race in CA
(I can understand why
SOS counts the votes, they want corrupt SOS in there)
so Dem Gov in CA pressured corporations (with threats) to not give money for Simon's campaign
since the corporations dont want to be investigated by government
they caved into the threats
after I read that article, I clicked on DD

water skiing always looked like so much fun
I got a chance to try it few times as kid
but I guess it needed more than 3 times to learn how not to cross my skis (which made me fall in water)
I bet that pond was fun for ice skating in winter too

Good morning everyone.
Thanks for the updates on the weekend happenings.
Neets is finding new romance while Mom is searching
for snappy drinks and convival characters in Seattle,
one of the hot beds of the new wireless internet connection.
Miss Palo and I are reminiscing about quadratic equations being the end of our formal mathmatical adventures, and
becoming highly disallusioned about government, business, politicians, and generally waiting to accelerate forward to
the mass awakening.

Oh we've never regretted moving Palo.. Things have to change with every stage of your life.. Taxachusetts was not a place to be after retirement.. We have never regretted the move.. The city changed a great deal.. It's a much better environment for the grandkids up here..and a slower pace of life.
