you are right
Happy would have been scared by loud siren
Lulu would have been irked
Happy is under my desk now, cause the weather is atmospheric and it unsettles him
Lulu too has been periodically whining for no reason
maybe she is upset you are going to Seattle for 3 days
To: andysandmikesmom
I could just see Lulu, with her barrel chest stuck out, her face pointed skyward, and a bellowing howl, and rumble coming from her, because those sirens hurt a doggies ears....
what sensitive portrait of bassethounds
you are right in every detail

I cannot wait to see the great Lulu...she will not disappoint, I am sure.....but I cannot play favorites, and so must admire Mr. Happy as well....
I have had many dogs, many breeds, and many mixed breeds...and I never showed favortism outwardly to any of my dogs, as I felt it would hurt their feelings...its kind of like trying to pick out your favorite child...you just cannot do it...
But Bassethounds do hold that very special place in my heart...
To: andysandmikesmom
I am same as you
I love Happy and Lulu equally
(and infinitely)
but there is something bout the basset hound soft sweetness which is indescribable
To: andysandmikesmom
of all your many wonderful posts
my favorite is how Helga starts her morning

Aw, heck, I suppose I had better go...still have laundry to do, Dizzy to play with, wash and set my hair, pack my bags, vacuum the house, etc. etc. etc...work, work, work...play time is over...
If I can whiz about, and finish early, perhaps I can return for some late night fun, but rather doubt it...I still have lots to do....
So, will say so long for now, and probably wont be back online until sometime Monday afternoon or evening...
Tho, hopefully I can sneak a little time in later tonite, and maybe even tomorrow morning...
But if not, I will give my good byes now, and bring a Seattle report back with me on Monday....
Cheers...have a nice weekend everyone...

Miss Pam came in and kicked my ass awake - good thoughts to all the dregs, flakes, and kids of the baby boom.
I would not trade a minute of it for anything.
Nor would I ever crawl under a desk to escape an atomic bomb, for crying out loud.
Have a great weekend with the HUMONGO ONE Mom.
The rest of we weineenies will be breathlessly awaiting your report. That and Neets ceiling texture analysis.

hi westy
I find British Columbia fresh and wonderful from your pics
I once traveled across Canada, and I love that country
back in mid '70s it only had population of NY State
and I think it may be bigger than USA (in size)
I'm happy on desert, but I have canadian dreams
Love, Palo
I believe habs' wife is from winnipeg

The weekend approaches - Mom and Dom off to Seattle, Neets going off for big romance. Everyone have a superior type time out there.
I just noticed the WTC in the background.
