Thanks for your last post. I never knew when Brit Hume's son died. It was all a very frustrating time back then, I didn't even know who Brit was until we got Fox when we moved here three years ago.
We passed by Fred Barnes in front of the Washington Press Building when we were downtown during a rainstorm this summer. :)
Goodnight, Sweetie.

The internet is salvation....when you need to find something out, or find like minded folks, the internet in general is where you need to go to find things out....
I cant believe how many things I have found out on the internet....its truly mindblowing...
When Andy first went away to college, in 1992, he was talking about how he and his galpal Allison could communicate via computers....now this was 10yrs ago, and it was crude compared to today...
But everyday, Andy, who was going to school in NY, could communicate with his girlfriend Allison, who was going to school in Cal....via computer, and in near real time, almost like being on the phone...
I could just not fathom what he was talking about, it was so unreal, and fantastic to me...yet here I am, years later, on the internet...
Aint progress grand?

he told her he wanted to move to bisbee and she said over my dead body
I admit that is not an enthusiastic response
loddy, sounds like she might have to be coaxed a little

I too, remember when Brit Humes son died...wasnt his name Andy Hume, or am I mistaken....
I remember at the time, feeling so very bad for him, because I knew how hard it would be for Brit to come to terms with such a horrible incident...

Gosh, I have to get ready for internet withdrawal, an ugly thing....being gone to Seattle is great fun, but I am without my internet....I suppose I will have to drink heavily, in order to compensate....
But this will probably be our last trip up to Seattle for a little while anyway...we plan to go back up right around the Christmas holidays for Christmas shopping and festivities...so we had better enjoy this weekend, as it will be the last for a while...
However, we are looking forward to our trip down to California in October, if we make it...we had planned to go down last year, but Andy returned early from his world trip, right at the time we were going to go down to Cal...
So grabbing little side trips to Seattle, provides some entertainment for our weekends...

I couldn't fathom it either
I watched the March for Justice (FR's rally supporting Impeachment) on c-span
c-span played it in middle of night
c-span said it is an internet site
I had no idea what they meant
I had been to rallies my whole life cause my parents were left wing political activists
I recognized this one looked different
everone seemed to sit with a little space around them, as if they didnt know each other physically
also each had an individual look, no two looked the same
also the speakers were interesting, cogent, thoughtful, and exciting
left wing rallies, the speakers are just empty bombast
I wrote to Brit Hume, ''why dont you put this on the air
it is most illuminating and real thing about politics I ever watched''
To: andysandmikesmom
maybe his son was named Scott
Scottie Hume ??
the hurt never left his eyes till time of Elian
it made me feel so close to him that I loved him and wanted him to be happy

Its really amazing when you think about it...back in the old days, like in the 19th century, people had to wait for days, to get the news about who won the Presidential election....
Today, they predict the winner of the election, before the all the voting places have even closed...
Everything is available to us, at the click of the mouse...
We do live in amazing times...

I couldnt understand email because everyone kept telling me ''it saves the whole burden of putting the stamp on the envelope''
I never thought of that as a big burden
I was used to doing it
also they said you dont have to write whole letter
you can write two sentences
but I didnt get that either
To: andysandmikesmom
