here is pic of puma fetish, loddy found it on net
it looks big in pic
is that quarter or 50 cent piece or silver dollar next to it?
I think fetishes are size of quarter
each fetish is handcarved by indian artist, no two are alike
my puma fetish is more interesting and thrilling than this one in pic (I think)
maybe each tribe has different style, and each artist his own style?

hi habs
soapstone is the softest stone so is easiest to carve

lol I just talked to merrill lynch
I said I want to close my account
they said pay us what you owe, then you can close your account
new charges just arrived
for ciggies, groceries, and cake (etc) at trader joes
they said new charges are $246
but they also charged me $40 (processing fee) for two bounced checks
I said ''it was nice of you to pay for my ciggies and groceries and cake
I will send you the check for that
but I wont pay you $40 for two bounced checks
cause you already helped yourself to $500 of my money''

he said ''we wont close your account till we get that $40 also''
I said ''you'll prolly charge me interest on it too''
he said ''yes''

I said ''I wont pay it for time being, either you'll cave or I will''
he was so cute
he said you're right we'll probably get tired and stop
he was sweetheart
Love, Palo

Constant Comment doesn't ice too well. Since it has orange peel and seeds in side the teabag, icing it changes the flavor. (Kinda like Earl Grey, it tastes like soap if the teabags are old. So fresh teabags are a must.)

Earl Grey gets brewed for about five minutes at most.
I usually just ask people to sit still. They can remain dressed if they wish. (Heck, I need the practice in drawing costumes and other such...)
We have a constant 90 degrees here, not too bad.. until the humidity is figured in. Then it makes you feel like you are drowning in a swamp.
Kinda hard to sleep lately as well, considering I stick a t-shirt on and flop down like a dead thing. (Even in winter...) And with the heat and humidity bubble we have, which is supposed to get worse, sleeping is nigh impossible. So my eyes have dark circles around them and look like a blown out jack-o' lantern....

hi cookie
you are having a heat wave
it is worse where you are now than tucson on the desert
90 is very low temp for us, but we dont get high humidity
(even now during monsoon season, our humidity is not as bad as yours)
obviously the solution is for all your female visitors to take off all their clothes
you can serve them cup of nice tea
draw them
then make passionate love

Not likely to happen anytime soon.
'Course the Supreme Court did say a few years back that women could legally go topless outdoors.. But the individual states have said, "Umm.. guys? We'll say no to this one.."
I love it when the government does odd stuff and doesn't follow it's own rules......
Later this week is supposed to be better.

you are well versed in supreme court rulings

I'm glad your heat wave is coming to an end soon
ours lasts till October

are your roses still blooming?

Supreme Court said that back in 1990 or so. It's been in limbo since.
We get our weather from anywhere that lets it loose. We get highs from Canada, tropical ridges from near you, and odd things that in winter would be a northeaster.
Kearen lays on the floor as a puddle and pants. Sometimes I spritz water into my hand and soak Kearen's back, then stick her in front of the fan. (She hates it..)
The rose is stil blooming. Kinda an off pink at the moment. The japanese beatles were slaughtered by the hundreds, and have finally lessened the onslaught on my rose. Now the aphids get to return. Wish I could convince a praying mantis or a couple hundred lady bugs to take up residence on it. The aphids would be in a panic. Larf!

Wonder if Oklahoma has had 80 degree weather in December again? Did that back in '96 when I was at Fort Sill. ('course the weather went colder at night.. -15... -25...)
Wish I could draw some of my favorite memories. Like the full moon under the trees after an ice storm... Unfortunately, pencil can't do it. I'd have to use an airbrush.

So... the Bent One says he'd personally fight Sodom Insane...
..when he couldn't be bothered to fight at all during Viet Nam.

As a comedian once said about Bill and Hillary, "At least one Clinton likes Jews."
(This was after Hillary's comment of 'that's all you people care about' to her political consultant.. and her 'f-ing jew bas..' comment.)

Ah the FJB card - I even got one of those FJB buttons way back in the day from Lucianne.com. ;-)

bent temporarily likes those who give him money or sex - as long as they keep up the donations, so to speak. After that, he's got no use for anyone. The pud.

Afternoon all...just a short hit and run post here...all morning, I had company, then they left, then had to fool around with BigDom, and Dizzy...now BigDom finally left for work, and Dizzy is asleep, and I have other company coming over for a little while...

Must be my day to entertain....

All this talk of turquoise, and soapstone, and pins and fetishes, has my interest...looking forward to what folks find....

AC...that pic of the worlds oldest working lighthouse, is a magnificent picture...it has everything...water, mountains, flowers, clouds, and of course, the lighthouse...I have downloaded that pic, its so stunning....need to go and look at all your other pics...between needing to go look at yours and grans pics, I have a lot of viewing to do....

Well, need to go already...need to make more coffee, and dig up the pie I bought at the store(I am a lousy pie maker)...

See ya all later...Have fun...
