and it shows to all, when I wear them, that I am a basset lover...
what a lovely post
To: palo verde
This is very exciting about the turquoise/silver jewelry pins....I am anxious for you to go and see just what they do have...NO SNAKES, please....
You are right, tho about having Mr. Dizzy...I could get myself a mountain lion pin, in Dizzys honor...
When you go, get an idea of the prices, and then if there is one that is particularly nice, I could send you the money, and you could get it for me...oh, I would love to have a piece of Arizona jewelry...and you are in just the right place to get it....
So, next time you go, you will have this little errand...
To: andysandmikesmom
my mom's check just arrived
I will look for cute pin
I'd love to get mountain lion in Dizzy's honor
but that may not be so easy right off the bat
I'll get you something cute to start you off
that will attract others to you
they are $40 in mall, but I know place which has them for bargain price
cause it is basically a rock and mineral store
but he goes to the indian reservations and comes back with some nice things
when we are in that neighborhood, I will get you one from there as little gift
just something simple and inexpensive to start ball rolling
then I will be on look out for mountain lion pin
or something wonderful
Bill has good eye, I will let him help me choose
when I am in stores again, I will start to describe what I see there
this will be fun for me
loddy's mission to go to fair in Bisbee isn't so easy, cause I like to post
but going to stores is my favorite thing
Love, Palo

To: celtic gal
Sorry to hear that you lost your sweet Nacho....we love our furry friends, and its so hard when they die, they just break our hearts....They give us so much, and they ask for so little in return....
Please know all of us here, feel so badly for your loss, and will pray for you to be comforted...

Time for me to go a bit early...I hardly slept last nite, so it seems, and now I am barely able to keep my peepers open....
I think what happened is early on, last nite, I had quite a dream, which woke me up, and I just could not sleep easy the rest of the night...
In my dream, I was in my current house, and inside was all warm and toasty, and a fire going on in the fireplace...but then I opened the sliding back door, and there sat my Helga, on the patio, full of ice and snow, and shivering, poor gal...there was some sort of a blizzard going on outside, and poor little(hahahaha) Helga, was caught up in it, and could not get in the house...I had to lug her in, cover her up with a blanket, and bring her near the fire to warm her up...it was so pitiful, the sight of a frozen Helga, that I woke up, startled...
Now, I am just so tired, and weary, from not sleeping much last nite...
So, will say good night to all, and hope you all have a fine evening...
See ya tomorrow....

Palo, and all..
Sad News...over the weekend my little copper penny red Nacho kitty took a turn for the worse. On Friday he went to the litter box in the morning about 5 times in around 15 minutes...really a strange thing//but other than that..he was doing pretty well considering he hated his new food. Then on Sat he wanted to go outside and he followed me all around the yard as I did some clipping..and he ate tho his eating was a tad off that day. I was thinking his litter box changes were due to the antihypertensive meds. So I did not give him any yesterday until I could talk to the vet. I called this morning and had a 2:30 appt but then when I gave him a little bath..he wasn't grooming himself SAt or Sun..I thought maybe he had a blockage but he had a soft belly so...I took him in early...in his UA he was now kickingout sugars, his BP was coming down, but his bloods were a mess..values all tanked...kidney values shot way up, blood count plunged ( he was not anemic at all a month ago..that was real strong) his platelets were tanked, his tongue was pale..It is suspected he was bleeding internally and he was getting fluid in the lungs. I got back to the vet about 3:30 at the latest and he was near death when I got there..He died about 4:45. He was so unusual in that he had no symptoms of kidney failure..no vomiting, no loss of appetite and no wt loss..there was no hint at all..then wham I come home on the 22June to find a problem in the eye..and all hell broke lose after that..at first on the 2 week f/u he seemed to be doing well..coming along but then today..he just couldn't go on. He was such a brave little kitty...never whined or cried fussed...such a sweet little thing that liked to polish your shoes, and play soccer with his dry food..get one piece and bat it around the kitchen then eat it and get the next one..Just thought you would like to know.. Talk to you later..just cant right now.

You see grannie, this is what we AC/e photojournalists do... flowers, sea, trees, rock, sailing vessel and the oldest working light house in the world.
