Having dined in some English institutions, Andy was better off going hungry ;-)

I heard a story about a hockey player named Mike Keane who ate a 62oz steak in one sitting, and got it free. He's 5'10,190...but the owners thought there was no way he could do it.They guesses wrong.Funny, I used to read about some guys that played on the KC Chiefs in the '60's and '70's that would go to a local all you can eat brunch for $6.99 and clean the joint out. They had to get thrown out!!

Radicchio is a red leafed veggie, part of the chicory family. It is bitter and excellent in salads and very popular in Italian cookery.Ask Mom ;-)

and said if I had not wanted him to eat all that food, I should not have left it in the pan...I should have taken out my portion and put it in the fridge for later consumption...

lol I give him credit
he ate your food and still had good answer
maybe he was prepared
after the scene you made when your dad ate the browny onions

Andy spent one whole year in England, going to school, and then trekking in the summer...he also made three other trips to England, on business, after college...

He relates, that English cuisine, is one of the lowpoints of being in England...he did not care for their food much at all...

That is why he was so thankful that there was a Safeway in London...I guess he lived on Chips Ahoy, and whatever else American he could get his hands on...

I think you may be correct...Palo, you have such a good memory...you remember about the fuss I raised when my dad ate all the wonderful browned stew onions....

Gosh I was a whiney kid and teen-ager...always carrying on about something...

My brother had no compassion for me at all..just looked at me as if I were from another planet...and he sure did have a snappy answer, probably prepared in advance, like you say, as he knew how I raised hell with my dad...

bullspread refers to my ability to tell tales ;-)

It's a term about option trading.

Love supreme works for me as well, too....

I bought an 18 piece set of Thomas Picone hand blown glass ornaments, that come in a wooden storage box...Thomas Picone makes wonderful ornaments and I bought a beautiful set from his last year...this set I bought tonite, is 18 different Santas from around the world....

And I bought two 4 foot Christmas trees, with the lights already installed on them...one just clear lights, and the other with multi colored lights...

I always have a 7ft artificial tree in the family room and a 6ft artificial tree in the kitchen, and then in the front room, we always go to the tree farm and cut down a huge Fraser Fir, that just about fills up half the front room...

But these little 4footers I bought tonite, will go nicely in the bedrooms.....

I just like having trees of all varying heights in different rooms in the house...
