I hate the added expense but maybe the electric bill and grocery bill won't be so high now in the long run.

Fridge talk...interesting to me, as altho our fridge in the kitchen works well, its probably about 8-10yrs old, and we want to replace it, sometime within the next year...the old fridge will go out to the garage, and will be BigDoms cooler for his beer....and a handy place to put extra big things, like big melons and such....
So, when we do buy one, I want a super duper deluxe model that does everything...ours in the kitchen now, was bought while we were saving for Andys college days, or paying college tuition, so we bought just a regular standard model, with no extras....
This time, I want to go all out, and get the super duper model...

Wonderful picture grannie...I have a great fondness for lighthouses....
Going along Rt101 down to Oregon and California, there is one stop in particular we always make...its one of the many wayside rest areas, along the ocean...this one in particular is really nice....
Lots of cliffs alongside the shore, lots of rocks and cliffs out in the ocean, a huge beach for walking along, and then way up on the hill, a beautiful, huge white house, and alongside, a wonderful lighthouse...
There is just something wonderful and romantic about lighthouses, aside from them providing a great service to those at sea, ,and needing a light, to show their way...

Palo, you are so very funny...in the middle of grocery shopping, you abandon Bill with the shopping cart, in order to duck out and shop for cute dresses.....You are my kind of shopper lady...
Did Bill recover and forgive you?
BigDom left for his weekend up in Tacoma, with the rock and roll show, and whatever....he took along with him, three teddy bears in a bag, with strict instructions to get it boxed up and mailed out to Palo...he took the bag, but as he was in a hurry to get to his weekend fun rolling, he will box up and mail the box on his way home on Monday...
So Palo, your three new bears should arrive in Tucson, sometime next week, probably from midweek on, as it wont be going out until Monday afternoon...but they are on their way...

Speaking again of fridge's...my mom just had a long-term memory moment again...she relays the following story to me....41 years ago...we moved into this house....it was in the late months of summer (maybe August even she things)...two weeks before they were to move up here from the city, the fridge broke..and they had to go buy a new one....she said today was like Deja-vu all over
again@!!

Palo, good link, and very interesting.. I've read about and have seen those pics before.. They're working hard to debunk them tho...
To: habs4ever
Hi Habs.. sorry I missed Ogunquit today... Maybe next time and not on a weekend.. Whew the traffic was bad, but luckily we missed it all..
Sub Zero is what we have.. They're great, but ours came with the house.. Otherwise we would have fainted at the cost of one.. We know what they paid for this one..with the panels to match the cabinets it was more than we would probably ever pay.. Horrendous price...
To: grannie9
Oh, yeah, Sub Zero is a porker, but if you are looking for a place to store houseguests as well, then you can't go wrong!!

Ah, I have been on Ebay, shopping up a storm...lots of good deals today....
You know, when the hubby scoots out for his exciting weekends without me, he always allows me a bankroll, about equal to what he spends for his weekend...even-steven we call it...he has his fun, with music and bands and beer drinking, and I have my fun with shopping....
Tho, next weekend, we are going together(gasp) up to Seattle for another fun filled three day weekend...
We do like our fun, however we get it...
To: grannie9
I am in love
