AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 536) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | July 10, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 07/10/2002 4:11:28 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

WorldCom announced they will decide within the next three weeks whether they have to file for bankruptcy protection. Analysts seem to think it is a foregone conclusion. It would be the largest such filing in US history, doubling the size of the Enron folding.

An Al Qa'eda audio tape has a spokesperson assuring the world The Evil One and Mullah Omar are alive and well.

A group of parents in Oakland, CA, are suing the school district for violation of the Establishment Clause. No, this time it is not Christianity that is at question. The action focuses on what has popped up in the news of late about certain practices in public schools in Kantafordia. According to The Washington Times, the parents filed suit because the schools, after September 11, "encouraged students to wear Muslim robes, adopt Islamic names, and stage make-believe pilgrimages to Mecca to learn about the faith."

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

You can strap me on the hood...I don't eat much and every once in a while I could put my foot on the ground to help push the car up some of the mountain trails, thus better gas mileage. *grins*

Let's see: Assuming normal human anatomy, and a typical definition of "hood", you would first have to be strapped onto your back, and then either have extremely long calfs, or a very low car. Either way, it's an amusing picture.

AFSCME figured prominantly during the demonflop convention in 2000. They were mentioned several times, and were one of the speakers.

Considering McAullife was UOx42's hand-picked leader of the DNC, and considering his singular role was the creation of a legacy by getting Tree into the White House no matter what, I would say your theory is a safe bet.

Democrats to exploit finance laws

The group's D.C. conference included Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe; Ralph Neas, president of the liberal watchdog group People for the American Way; Kate Michelman, president of NARAL; Ellen Malcolm, president of Emily's List; House Minority Leader Richard A. Gephardt, Missouri Democrat; former Clinton administration officials James Carville, Paul Begala and Joe Lockhart; former Gore 2000 campaign manager Donna Brazile; and representatives of several labor unions.

And those who were dialed into ATRW read about their proposed course of action here first.

Corrupt CEO's, the trouble in the Middle East, bad grammar, and last but not least......AIDS! LOL!! Ya gotta love it!

Hey there! Good to see you here again!

Dog - It'll be news when the Dems DON'T exploit finance laws, IMO..

kayak - Thanks for the still lurking update. She was part of my MIA post above. How're things with your daughter?

dittomom - Can't wait to hear my favorite baseball guy on the radio tonight.

Are you listening to Limbaugh's show? The sub, a radio business guy is very , very good.

I just heard over the radio the tail end of a news blurb. (Parse that!) It had something to do with the Elizabeth Smart case and a letter.

Does anyone have any information to add?

What letter?
From whom?
To whom?
Postmarked from where?

Nosy people want to know.

After so long, I am worried she is dead.

lepton - How's the summer going?

Utah Girl - How's Jacob and your sister? The top of the hour ABC news said the Smarts had received a lettr from someone claiming to be in touch with the kidnapper???

See my post, Jemian. The Smarts had no way of responding to the letter except thru the media. That's about all there was to the report.

I just heard about the letter to the Smart family. Don't know anything else. I hope it isn't some hoax that a jerk sent that will cause them even more pain.

Jacob is doing very well, he is home and thriving. My sister is doing well also, no after effects from the accident. She and her family were up at our cabin yesterday, and my dad said they had a marvelous time playing and hiking.
