Not only that, but according to some on these threads, you stand convicted as well on a few counts. You're a male, that's a strike against you. You're going against what they perceive as conventional wisdom, another strike. You're calling for equal treatment under the law, and that's the final strike.

By the way, it's a bad assumption. When I was married, we dealt with an ex-husband who was doing exactly that. My (now ex) wife's first husband didn't see the sense at shopping at Walmart or K-mart when he could go to the higher cost places, spend more, and get less - and then bitch to us because he had already spent the money. Or better yet, bringing the children over for a visit and telling us we needed to buy them shoes because he had spent the money on alcohol.

The reluctance to even acknowledge (much less actually address) the problem is a VERY convincing argument coming from Conservative women.

And then, the rare instances where it is acknowledged if you add in the marginalization factor it becomes overwhelming.

I have given you my beliefs and hopes on marriage. I have told you I believe in bringing more fairness to the courts, and agreed that they are not currently fair.

I have sympathized that men have gotten a bad rap here on these threads and agreed with some of the men on them.

I have suggested solutions which I believe to be more fair and I am not sure you have responded to them or shown interest in fixing it, only in throwing up your hands and abandoning marriage.

What more do you want me to do? - I have not committed the wrongs you speak of, so there is no personal reparation I can pay.

Do you want me to say women are all bitches? - They aren't. Some are, no doubt. I am beginning to feel like one. Perhaps you just bring out the best in women. But I am not about to blame all men... I love most of them.

Since we wre talking about how courts and child support laws are 'UNFAIR TO MEN' I thought I had a pretty good shot at assuming Rebelbase was taking about a woman. ........Yea, I know wrong again.

Since you 2 aren't talking about women getting special treatment in divorce court,what are you talking about. Are you saying Courts are unfair to both partys?
