it was swell of you to take the rats to the vet andysmom
how nice the vet could give them something to relieve their caugh
and you were kind enuf to give it to them
I know many people who have pet rat, so I do not find this unusual
but I never had one myself, so I am curious bout all you say

rofl my mom naturally ''hated'' drugs

but my brother grew marijuana plants in his closet
when he went off to college he gave my mom instructions how to water and care for his marijuana plants
she did it faithfully everyday

moms are something else! lol

all forest and public land is closed
no one is allowed to go into caves
cause all the land is closed around it
for fear of more forest fire
until we get rain all land is closed

Well, I need to get offline, now, as I have a few things I need to do, before we take off for our big weekend of wine guzzling, beer sampling, food sampling, food buying, fish throwing, tourist watching, souvenir buying, ferry riding, trouble making three day weekend...

I shall miss all of you, but hopefully will return with stories to tell...hopefully we will run into something odd or interesting to tell about...(usually I do...my aunt says odd experiences and odd people tend to gravitate to me)...

Most people can ride a Greyhound Bus, and find the trip to be nothing but dull, long and exhausting...

I have taken many Greyhound Bus rides, over the past 12 yrs or so(when I was first going back and forth to Cal. to take care of my parents, I always rode the Bus...later on I drove...but for the first few months I rode the bus)....

Each trip was an adventure for the happenings on the bus, and in the bus station...

So if I find nothing snappy to report on, from my Seattle trip, I will tell of my various adventures on the Greyhound Bus...if I do find snappy reports from Seattle, the Greyhound Bus stories, will still be there in my storytelling arsenal for a later date...

So, all, be well, be happy, and be kind to one another...with any good luck, I shall return here on Monday afternoon, or evening...

Thats interesting to know about the rain and the caving...it of course makes sense tho...need to keep the risks of fire down...

my brother said he once suggested to my mom would she like to try pot
but she said no
she was happy watering the plants for him tho
she totally freaked out when she found out I smoked pot
but my brother was 5 years younger than me
by the time he started smoking it, I guess she was used to the idea
plus by then it was in the news and movies

Hi, Palo,

Nice to hear from you and Happy Birthday to Chrissie! What flavor was the cake and ice cream???Were there party hats and tooters too?

Spent the day running around..grocery store, vet, then I had to go to the people vet for my annual,g ot home at 6:00pm and have still got lots to do..like give Nacho his subQ fluids which I dread. He gets so wiggley. I can't wait until he is off the antibiotics.that will be one less misery for him on his daily schedule of antiacids, hypertension cream and fluids ( the last is 3 times a week).

Off to take care of the kitty. Hugs to all....CG

there is nothing like the relationship between a person and a beloved pet--nothing. with a cherished animal, there are no negatives, only perfect love. i hope that you can find comfort in the knowledge that you and your family gave minnie a wonderful, happy life and that you were blessed to have her in yours.
