Ah, Palo, first you are out of commission, because of no dial tone on the phone, and then you take a nap...

Thats not allowed...when you are absent, we worry....

What is Lulu up to? Is she going to supervise, while Bill paints the kitchen?

So, have finished with the hubby for the day, and Dizzy has been taken care of, so hopefully now, I will not have any futher interruptions....

Sorry to hear that BigAl's such a high maintenance sorta guy.

Not marrying until I was in the third decade of life, and not living at home, I had to figger out how to DO things, if I wanted them done. ;-)

If I want something, I get it - if dw wants something, I'm happy to get this also. Strokes & folks - we're all a little bit different. ;-)

LOL...first off, isnt BigAl, Grannie9s hubby? My hubby is BigDominick....nice Sicilian/Italian name...

And my hubby was so dang spoiled when I married him...his grandmother and grandfather raised him and in some ways, they spoiled him rotten...so did many of his aunts and uncles...I think they all felt sorry for him, because his mom ran off when he was a baby, and his dad was in Heinz veterans hospital for several years following WW11...

In some ways they spoiled him and in other ways they were very strict with him...

However, moan as I often do, I do like to take good care of him...he works usually 11 hours a day on those post office docks at nite, and about once a month, he will have to work a Saturday, so I do try to do as much for him as possible, so he can concentrate on his job...

Hes really a lousy cook tho...one time, when we were living in North Carolina, I had the flu, really bad, and could not even stand the smell of cooking food, without getting nauseated...so the hubby had to cook for the two boys....

I remember getting up out of bed, and peeked in on the boys and my hubby sitting at the kitchen table eating dinner...my hubby seemed to enjoy his own cooking, but the two boys were making gruesome faces, and sticking out their tongues when the hubby was not looking...I took pity on my boys, and quickly whipped them up something more welcome to their palates...

Well, the hubby tried, but he was not successful...a domestic engineer, he is not...

My worst cooking/baking catastrophe happened when I once made some fudge....I made this nice batch of chocolate fudge, ,and after it was set, my younger boy, took a piece...I asked him how it was, and he tried to smile, and answered that it was good, but he thought the chopped walnuts were too salty and made the fudge a 'little' salty...well I tasted the fudge and it was absolutely awful...very, very, salty...a 'lot' salty, not a 'little' salty...

I asked my son, why he wasnt truthful about how awful the fudge was...now bear in mind, this was just a few months after our older boy had died, and I was still pretty raw emotionally...the younger boy, said, that he did not want to hurt my feelings, and he thought if he told me how awful the fudge really was, I would get upset and start to cry...

Bless his heart...he was ever conscious of my feelings during that awful time...

So I guess I had somehow mixed up the salt and sugar, and instead of adding three cups of sugar to the fudge mix, I must have added three cups of salt...YUCK...

But I quickly made another batch of fudge, and made it correctly, for it was delicious...

An elderly couple is enjoying an anniversary dinner together in a small tavern. The husband leans over and asks his wife, "Do you remember the first time we had sex together over fifty years ago? We went behind this tavern where you leaned against the fence and I made love to you."

"Yes," she says, "I remember it well."

"OK," he says, "How about taking a stroll 'round there again and we can do it for old time's sake."

"Oooooooh, you devil, that sounds like a good idea," she answers.

There's a police officer sitting in the next booth listening to all this, and having a chuckle to himself. He thinks, "I've got to see this...two old-timers having sex against a fence. I'll just keep an eye on them so's there's no trouble."

So he follows them. They walk haltingly along, leaning on each other for support, aided by walking sticks.

Finally they get to the back of the tavern and make their way to the fence. The old lady lifts her skirt, takes her thong off and the old man drops his trousers. She turns around and as she hangs on to the fence, the old man moves in.

Suddenly they erupt into the most furious sex that the watching policeman has ever seen. They are bucking and jumping like eighteen-year-olds. This goes on for about forty minutes! She's yelling, "Ohhhh, God!" He's hanging on to her hips for dear life. This is the most athletic sex imaginable.

Finally, they both collapse panting on the ground. The policeman is amazed. He thinks he has learned something about life that he didn't know. He starts to think about his own aged parents and wonders whether they still have sex like this.

After about half an hour of lying on the ground recovering, the old couple struggle to their feet and put their clothes back on. The policeman, still watching, thinks "That was truly amazing! He was going like a train. I've got to ask him what his secret is."

As the couple passes, he says to them "That was something else! You must have been having sex for about forty minutes. How do you manage it? You must have had a fantastic life together. Is there some sort of secret?"

"No, there's no secret," the old man says, "except that fifty years ago that damn fence wasn't electric".

I know that tree man got an eyeful...I can still see him, grinning and tipping his construction hat at me...

I just never thought, at three stories up high, some man would be peeking into my sunporch...

Hello all.. Just got thru doing a few more pics.. It takes awhile to change file types and size etc.. Lots of moving things around..

I took over fifty pics last night. Digital cameras are wonderful.. Don't have to wait for them to be developed and can easily erase any bad ones.. I think I'll just put them in a folder on Fotki and then use a link.. I hate to take up so much bandwidth with them..

Glad your works done for the day Mom.. Wonderful feeling isn't it?

Thank you Loddy. It's lots of fun.. I'd better start dumping some on Cd's soon..

It is a nice area Habs.. Country but right next to the seashore and beaches..and not far from the mountains.

Palo, you had a nice restful day today.. Good for you honey. I hope your kitchen comes out lovely.. Like someone else said, (Mom?)lots of white..and maybe yellow too? Mmmmm...

It's still hot as Hades here. Thank goodness for air conditioning. I should go down for a skinny dip before bed.. ;)
