No, she did not say anything...when the Palo does not show up, I worry about her...
I know she was up late, on the thread about Larry Klayman, and Judicial Watch...perhaps she is sleeping in...or perhaps Bill and she are discussing the kiln...
Yes, indeed, we do need a PV sighting, to know that she is ok...
Palo alert...Where are you Palo? Your Freeper buds are missing you...
To: palo verde
Hooray...Palo has returned...we were very worried about you...we dont want our Palo to be MIA...
You know, I have never had a problem with my local phone service, but three times, within the last few years, I have had my AT&T service disconnected for no reason...when I call about it, the customer service rep checks my file, and always acts dumb, and says they cannot figure out why my long distance service is disconnected....they always have it reconnected by the end of the day, but its irritating when it happens...and especially because they act like tey dont understand why it was disconnected....
At first they try to act all tricky, and claim that probably I did not pay my bill...but when they bother to check my file, they always find that my bill is paid up in full and current...
So often these silly snafus happen...but because I have had this happen a number of times, sometimes I actually do get paranoid...

Bridget Bardot's story bout her and Marilyn could be true Loddy
I read Hedy Lamarr's autobiography way back in the '60s
I think she said she really liked women
altho my memory may be at fault bout this
I tried to get her book out of library recently but tucson library doesn't have it
I always liked Hedy LaMarr
it's hard to know who anyone really liked cause of all the taboos
I realized Paul McCartney was in love with John Lennon, when they had history of beatles on tv when I moved to Tucson
I think his song let it be, was about that
he accepted he could not have john lennon
I think Stewart Granger also liked guys
it's harder to tell with women
cause often they like both sexes
altho Ava Gardner clearly liked sex with men, her autobiography was a trip

yesterday he washed the walls
so far the brick red is still the front runner
he hasn't switched back to the chocolate brown
it will be either of these two cause he wants to use the paint he has on hand
and as he points out ''they won't show the dirt'' :)

Ava sure liked her bullfighters in Spain, didn't she? Her life turned out like a film role she played with Tyronne Power, Sun also Rises.I rad though, that towards the last years of her life, living in London, she liked to play the recluse.Grainger once said she'd call him in the middle of the night after watching one of her flics and say how beautiful she used to look, once, a longtime ago....very sad, in a way...

This is all very interesting stuff...There were so many taboos when I was growing up, so Palo is right, many times folks just tried to live their lives like they thought they were expeccted to, even if it went against their own 'leanings'....nothing is surprising anymore...
One time, many years ago, one of my friends from high school, said that she had run into our class president...he was now a principal at a high school...
So they started talking about former classmates of all of us, that each one of them had information about...our former class president, said, that one of our former classmates, a guy, had a sex change operation, and that now he was a she...but he could not remember which classmate...
Yikes...how could he have forgotten the most important part....so I went back through my old high school yearbook, to see if I could see any of my former male classmates, that I think might have had this operation...but of course, I could not even guess...it will always be a mystery, now...
So I know that at least one of my former classmates had a sex change operation...how drole...
Heres another thing about my high school...does anyone remember the actor Michael Gross, who played the dad on 'Family Ties' with Michael J. Fox as the son? Well, Michael Gross went to and graduated from the same high school as I did...Kelvyn Park High in Chicago...
But I was a senior, when Gross was either a Freshman or Sophomore, so I did not know him...
And heres one for you Palo...My husband went to and graduated from the same boys Catholic High School, as Henry Hyde, tho Hyde is much older than my husband...they both went to and graduated from St. George....in fact, many times when my husband gets his yearly alumni advertisement from the school, they always include a little newsletter, and often mention something about Henry Hyde, as he is an important alumni....
Ironically, St. George, the school, no longer physically exists anymore..it was demolished, and I think its either a parking lot, or something like that...I will have to ask the hubby what stands where St. George used to be...
Speaking of the hubby, he will be getting up soon, so need to get my butt in gear, and attend to him...
See ya all later..

Our Old No. Hampton Church. This is the center of town. About five or six houses down the street.
To: All

This is the Gazabo across from the church.. They have band concerts every Thursday night all summer. I can hear them from here. Jessie walks there for them and meets her friends, as her house is just down the street too.
This week is Country and Western band..
Our names are on one of the walk bricks and Jessie's family's is on another.. People in town dedicated the new brick walks.. Tried to get closeups but was too dark by then...

Ok.. I've cooked and eaten my dinner, where are you all?
To: grannie9
Just got the hubby sent off to work a short while ago...played with Dizzy, fed Dizzy some of his special treats, gave Dizzy some catnip, Dizzy is now stoned out, and resting...
So, have finished with the hubby for the day, and Dizzy has been taken care of, so hopefully now, I will not have any futher interruptions....
The weather this afternoon, is actually quite nice...warmish, and sunny...
Grannie, those are some great photos...looks like you live in a really nice area...I like that Gazebo...We have something like that down in Olympia...in one of the downtown parks, there is a Gazebo, and in the summer, they have lots of concerts there....
You were talking about the bricks with your names on them...they had something similar to that up in Seattle, when they were redoing the sidewalks up at Pike Market...you could donate a certain amt of money to help with the project, and then you got your name on one of the squares used to finish off the walkway...
To: grannie9
I fell asleep
now I'm up
what did u have for dinner?
Love, Palo
