Finally got online, after putzing around all morning, and into the afternoon...
I am sorry that the Palo did not get a full nites sleeep, and had her sleep interrupted by Princess Lulu marching on her head..(tho a lovely basset on ones head, while it can hurt, due to said bassets heftiness, is still a lovely way to be awakened)
Its coolish here today, right now, a little cloudy, and the temp supposed to go up to 74...
The kids were out in full force last nite, setting off fireworks...I expect this will go on and on until July 4th, at which time, the whole neighborhood will probably explode...
Well, the hubby is waking up....must go talk to him, and feed him...wil be back a little later on...

This is the front patio we just took the old bricks out of.. The chipmonks had it completely undermined and it was dangerous. We will plant it in grass..
The Wisteria did not bloom well this year..and we need some new vines.. The Clematis didn't do well in this spot.. Too hot maybe? LOL.. just told Al, he forgot to paint the trellis.. Primed only. Ooops..
Westy, that tree if fantasic. Never saw one like it.. The way it grows up. This is the new part of the house.. That is my computer room downstairs..

oh boy, what a brutal day here...its about 110 with the humidity factored in.It hits like a brick wall, and is oppressive....I need to go have a swim :-)

LOL...that Lulu...tummy full of Krafts Singles, and a can of doggie food...after that, she needs her nap...
Right now, Dizzy is acting berserk...running up and down the hall, amusing himself, I expect...hes been rather peppy lately...and just a few weeks ago, he was all lethargic, and would not wake up or play...Now hes like wound up...
Poor hubby..did not feel well today, and hated to go work...but off he went anyway...hope hes not coming down with something or another...he hates to use sick days for actually being sick...instead, he prefers to use a sick day every so often, usually on a Friday, so that we can go away and have a three day weekend...hes a sneaky guy...
Thats ok...hes got about 4 months of sick time built up over the years...so he figures, that now, with his time at work running down to under 3 yrs, he can afford to take some sick days, for fun time....
What are everyones plans for the July 4th holiday?

That Lulu...she wakes up crying, and she knows she will get a treat or some loving to help her...shes a wise gal....
July 4th, we will be spending at home...watching the specials on TV, watching the local kids shoot off their fireworks, watching the fireworks from the Space Needle, on TV, drinking beer, and eating steaks and baked potatoes...
A day to eat well and drink well, and ponder the meaning of July 4th...and of course, Freep all the while...

Honey, no one in their right mind swims in Lake Ontario ;-)LOL...one good thing, at least the algae isn't around yet.Then that would be toxic!! Hard to believe its about 5 degrees cooler by the lake than about a mile north of here.I can't recall a day this hot before, when its almost hard to breath.

When I read those threads from the link AC posted yesterday, AndysMom was on them.I even saw a couple of names that are still on Lcom now.
I noticed that a lurker posted here, just to let us all know she still reads us.I knew she couldn't keep away ;-)lol
