Great Pictures Val. Savannah Georgia is particularly beautiful. Also, nothing wrong with MD except it sooooo Liberal. Chrissy always calls it the Republik of Maryland!!

I didn't get to see much of NC yesterday driving through it in a hurry on Hiway 95. I hated being in a rush. On the 7th and 8th I'll get a better look at NC.

Valerie, have been following along, as you are on your travels...love all of your pictures, I am getting to see places I have never been before...

The weather here in Western Washington today is chilly...right now its 59, and expected to extend all the way up to 66 or so...it was raining a little while ago, now the sun is shining...I expect the fire depts. are a little bit happy, with whatever rain we can get, so that when the merrymakers hit the streets tonite, with their fireworks, the fire hazard will not be so high...

The kids here have been setting off all of their fireworks for the last few days, tho tonite I am sure the neighborhood will be exploding with all the fireworks...

I am watching the Boston Pops on A&E.

It is the only one of the Music/Fireworks programs this year that has not gone downright antipatriotic.

Both PBS and ABC have banned patriotic songs as Politically Incorrect.

hey, val! just on the other side of the bay bridge is where my brother and sister-in-law just bought a new house. it's called kent island.

i've spent many hours on that bridge driving back and forth to ocean city, md.

my father still lives in annapolis. downtown is always crowded with hordes of tourists.

what happened with your van? i hope it was not a expensive repair.

Just got the kiddies to bed .. been a loooooooooong day .. they are out like a light

I watching the local news .. there was a house fire .. 3 small children and 3 firefighters lost their lives when the building collaspe .. wow .. so sad
