Yes, we are celebrating! It'll be sooo nice to be in the house. We've waited a long time for this.
I think i'll head off to bed. It's been a long day - tiring as well. I didn't hear back from the real estate broker until nearly 6 p.m. as to whether the bid was accepted or not. I was starting to think that no news meant we had been out bid. The seller had been stalling, hoping for other bids, but our representative pushed the issue, so they took it. There were actually a couple of offers later, but we beat them to it. I'm soooo excited. Did I mention that I'm excited?

yep, I drove more than 500 miles yesterday - the last 100+ in traffic with traffic lights. So glad to be here and not have to drive anywhere today except around town. We've driven 2,000 miles on the trip so far.
