Oh we are having a great time, but Tyler is wearing me out! We are going to Woodland Park tomorrow for a family fun day. It's a very laid back, small town kind of celebration that starts with a pancake breakfast. There is a statewide ban on fireworks, even for city sponsored ones, but I guess there are a lot of laser shows tomorrow night to compensate.

Thank you for the good wishes. I'll probably be spending a part of the day tomorrow getting paperwork together for our mortgage. WE GOT THE HOUSE!! contingent, of course, on favorable property inspections, etc. I'm so excited, I'm so excited!

Yes, it is. I've gotta start packing. We were over there this evening, sitting for a bit in the back yard, looking at the hills. The back yard borders on open space (part of the regional park system) so it will never be developed. It is so quiet!

I never got the post cards. I'd been looking for them too. Makes me wonder what other mail has gone missing. I know that one of hubby's paychecks went astray and we had to have a new one issued.
