back in my old neighborhood
on E. 3rd St
there was one building where shades were always drawn
and which had window boxes with flowers in every window

year before I left nyc for tucson someone told me what went on in that building
I never would have guessed

Reading that recipe for PB&J yesterday made me so hungry! The other recipes were interesting, too.

No one did spitballs in my catlic school. We were relatively tame, except for smoking in the ladies room and modifying the regulation uniforms to be cute little pseudo-sluts. :)

Just a thought that passed in the night: You said Bill has returned to his painting. Is he perhaps planning a mural on that red wall? This inquiring mind wants to know. Don't interrupt the artist at his work, but keep an eye on the wall, will ya?

seems to me spitbals happened when teacher was sick and we had substitute

back then children behaved in school
but after school the boys would swing their briefcases at each other, and wind up rolling in mud punching each other
