I am kinda clueless in that regard..well sort of...she visited with my oldest sister who has been trying since my Dad passed away to get my mother to sell the house and move to FLA..but Mom does not like the hot weather in FLA...but she is unhappy in this house too with memories of Dad...so maybe that's what did it...

Yes, indeed I got banned...it took me three days to even get an answer as to why I was banned, and then the reply was really nasty...and they said my banning was not temporary, but that it would be permanent, so flagrant was I...so I just made up a new email addy, and a new screenname

But I posted for only about a week or two with the new name...it just was not the same...and then the mass exodus occured right around that time...

Funny thing is tho, I asked, just out of curiosity, to be reinstated with my original screenname...I did this at Christmastime, and asked that in the spirit of Christmas could I please have my original name back...

I got an immediate response, this time, saying that, of course, I could have my original screenname reinstated, and they looked forward to my posting again...

But I never did post again...just angry over my original banning for no good reason, as far as I could see...so if they were looking forward to seeing me post again, they will have to wait, till bassets no longer love food, which is never...

Come to think of it, I seem to remember Monday's are clean the bathroom, iron the clothes, polish the silverware and boil the beef days for Mr. Jeeves.

Yep....we have many choices with the internet, and now, every so often, I go back to L.com, just to read, and see what is going on, and Palo is right, nothing much is going on, and its boring...the only real time, they seem to get a big flurry of postings, is when they have the weekend Roundtable, and a really good subject to discuss...

What I really enjoy about FR, is that there so many different threads, so many different subjects, so many different posters, and the action never really seems to stop...You can always find something or someone on FR...anytime, night or day...

And we can discuss the shenanigans of our pets, and extol the virtues of bassets, without getting a warning for the 'moderators'...

Palo, I'd say that exodus and I weren't bonding at all.I did find out he supports Harry Browne, when all along I thought he was a Keyes guy.I'm not a fan of Harry's, though ;-)You missed some whopping good brawls and really long threads,even one last night about the dirtybomber Padilla.A thread, a going away from FR opus, got hijacked into a long thread over the rights of said Mr Padilla :-)

I saw your old pal Indie posting on the Bomb ;-)And found a site where some ex Lcommers and banned FR's post, mostly to gripe about why FR isn't the same as it used to be!! Too funny!!In fact, one from a guy that used to give some trouble, especially with your emails ;-)
