This cockamamie, photo-op story reminds me of that solitary pile of rocks on Normandy Beach, a lone tilted U.S, flag in the American cemetary near Anzio, bogus beach dancing in the Virgin Islands, Ron Brown's funeral.... or any number of
"lip quivering" moments from '93 to '01. BUT, the deadline is funnier. LOL.
WHO'S BEEN BOMBING MY BED?
Does anyone but a bunch of ignorant, illiterate Palis really believe that if the Israelis intended to kill Arafat dead that he would be alive today ?

WOW 'atsa big bridge
Sicilian bridge to go ahead
[link island with mainland]
Construction of a controversial suspension bridge connecting the Mediterranean island of Sicily to the Italian mainland will begin in three years' time and should be completed by 2010, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi announced.
The bridge will be five kilometres long and its central span - supported by four steel cables each nearly a metre-and-a-half in diameter - will measure over three kilometres.
It will rise 64m above sea level and will contain a double six-lane highway and four tracks for a new high-speed railway line planned to link the Sicilian capital, Palermo, with the rest of Italy.

She has shapeless wrists to match her shapeless ankles. Those puffy sleeves look like she's trying to occupy more than her share of space and go on an old-fashioned royalty trip ... it's a wonder she doesn't have a high lace collar, too, and call herself the virgin queen. Didn't her pal Yasser include a tiara in the jewelry collection he bought for her?

Ferry boats just don't do the trick?

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Sandra Day O'Connor says her childhood dream as a girl growing up in El Paso, Texas was to become a cattle rancher. Now, she says she rides herd on lower-court judges. O'Connor, the first female justice on the Supreme Court, was inducted today into the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame. She and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas were among the hundreds donned in cowboy hats and boots for the ribbon-cutting on the new $21 million museum today in downtown Fort Worth. The museum opens to the public this Sunday.

OMG. ..... OMG !
I suppose that is an Oscar de la Renta gown. What a puty, I used to think he was a very sexy man. LOL. No matter who designed it, they never intended to see if on a short, dumpy sow wear it to the American Fashion Awards. FOFLOL. It isn't an especially pretty dress to begin with and it should only be worn by a tall, elegant, s-l-e-n-d-a-r woman with some degree of personal style. Furthermore, the color is all wrong for her. I wonder if that bracelet is the one Arafat gave her.
