What's this with the NoChow evening? That's not right! I'll be heading in to prep a nice RoastySandwich, with plenty of SaladDressing (I grew up too poor to have the mayo thingie) and plenty of fresh ground pepper corns adorning it.

Everyone have a superior type evening, if I don't see you again. JL

"Where are those two boneheads!???" Darksheare had just stalked close enough to the portal to get back his abilities. And he didn't like what he sensed. A kibrit hopped by, sniffed his ankle, and nibbled on the denim a bit. He looked down at the rabbit like creature and thought it looked completely ridiculous here on Ea'rth. And he was right. It's pointed snout and longish legs going to a small fluff covered body made for quite an amusing laugh. If it wasn't for the fact that there was cross contamination between whole worlds going on. And 'those two boneheads' where the cause.

And those 'boneheads' where walking back to the portal after another unsuccessful trip of looking for Darksheare.
Reh'shka and Khar'mash came around a cargo container looking at the ground dejectedly and stopped short at a pair of boots. Tapping one foot very rapidly. They looked at each other quickly and then at Darksheare in a surprised fashion.

A few minutes later, and a few rough words and hurt feelings.. among other things.... And they were in a mood to negotiate.
"Boneheads!" that was all Darksheare had to say on the matter. The Kibrit had a lot more to say. It chittered, chirped, purred, and squeeked at Reh'shka and Khar'mash. It didn't seem to be happy with being in some place different from it's own home. On the other hand, Darksheare was quite happy with Ea'rth.

"But, you are needed there." Khar'mash objected as darksherae held him in the portal opening.
"I do not want to rule over anyone, nor do I want to be in control of anything there. I prefer living my quiet, normal life here. The Lady of Kentothe is old enough to rule, let her. She knows all that is needed. Try and tranq dart me again, and I'll burn your souls from your bodies when we next meet." and to show that he cared, Darksheare lit his hands up. Khar'mash beat at his now flaming shirt as Darksheare let him go, into the portal. Reh'shka was less willing to negotiate, now that he saw and understood what was intended. But Darksheare was very understanding and even helpfull to Reh's stalled thought process. He through him into the portal headfirst. A small pause, and Darksheare sent the Kibrit back. He heard some protests, curses, and other dire imprecations coming from the other side of the portal.
"Make sure you land on your feet next time, if there is one." and with that, the portal swallowed the warehouse wall it was in with sound of a godlike belch as it collapsed.

And Darksheare was a normal man again. Laughing, in the rain.

The ending was all I could think of. I like laughing in the rain, at the lightning and such.
Habs, why not tell her? Still sounds... strangely.... compelling. *Again, predatory cat like stare.*

(On an odd note, my sister-in-law has accused me of being more cat than man.. all because of the way I walk. I pad around.)

You know, that's why Sean Connery got the role of James Bond, as the producer thought he walked like a panther ;-)

Greeeeat. Unfortunately, it gets me into trouble. My brother tell sme that it makes me look 'evil'. Robin still thinks I walk like a cat. She insists I must have been a cat at some point.. uh-oh.. I see a story line coming.

Well, gonna again power down and check my eyelids for holes.. or holes for my eyelids. Haven't decided yet.

She was suddenly surprised by the feeling of something fuzzy brushing against her leg. Looking down, she spotted a rather large black tomcat eyeing her with an almost human stare.
"And what is it that you wish? Me, I'm just having a bad day and wish things were..." the cat gave her a reassuring head but and cheeck rub in response....

I just realized my recipe is for boiled beef soup
cause the broth tastes like consomme
and the escarole in it is delicious
so I guess last thing to do is shred the beef
