Finally got back to us huh? Did you get things cleaned up a bit?

I noticed they had George's listed for Waco. That's a good un. A hangout for the Baylor crowd, but good food nonetheless.

Getting there...
To: Darlin'; Servant of the Nine
They mention the Elite Cafe in Waco. I haven't been there, but I've seen it. We'll stop by sometime this week and see how it is.

Well, I'll send you the names of some places in Tennessee just in case. LOL. Aside from the music industry in Nashville and Memphis, the historic Civil War battlefields and cemetaries, the plantation homes and some very good state parks, you can also visit the Jack Daniels Distillery at Lynchburg and then eat at Miss Bobo's - Yum. (on second thought maybe you don't want to take the boys there. LOL)

Just 2.5% of DNA
turns mice into menMice and men share about 97.5 per cent of their working DNA, just one per cent less than chimps and humans.
The new work suggests that neither genome has changed much since we shared a common ancestor 100 million years ago Where do the Ratts fit in?

Tonight we have Sonic burgers and milkshakes. Except me, I'm having salad and diet Pepsi for dinner, but I snuck a sip of the peach cream pie milkshake and it is yummmmmmmmmy.
To: catpuppy
I never did see the movie Deliverance. Not sure I ever want to.
To: ValerieUSA

To: catpuppy
Do you have Sonic drive-ins in Georgia? They have different flavors of cream pie milkshakes available - all totally yummers. I'm trying not to think about it. I just love Diet Pepsi.... and ice water... I do. Really. *sigh*

U-TURN: BUSH ADMIN OUTLINES 'GLOBAL WARMING' EFFECTS ON AMERICA; ACKNOWLEDGES DAMAGE
In a stunning U-turn for the Bush administration, the United States has sent a climate report to the United Nations detailing "specific and far-reaching effects" that it says "global warming will inflict" on the American environment.
Also for the first time -- the White House places "most of the blame for recent global warming on human actions -- mainly the burning of fossil fuels ...

Val, there are Sonics in Georgia but not nearby. I will have lunch there at the next opportunity.

Who actually wrote this report? Why is the U.S. sending any reports to the UN anyway? We don't owe them any explanations or assistance in their mismanagement of the world. This is a NY Times story. How reliable can it be, and how reliable is the tidbit that was slipped to Drudge?
To: catpuppy
If you want the best in Burgers or steak sandwiches, find a Fudruckers. Each place bakes it's own buns and butchers it's own meat. They buy fore quarters of beef, cut the Rib Eye steaks for sandwiches and all the rest goes into the hamburger. A huge buffet of every tipe of salad stuff known to man to pile on as deep as you want.

How reliable can it be, and how reliable is the tidbit that was slipped to Drudge? Some grunts in the Dept. of Agriculture, or the USGS or the Weather Bureau, who knows? I am sure it never went near the whitehouse, just a routine piece of beaurocratic bumph that an alert cabinet officer should have killed.
