I know there are prayer warriors on FR. Please pass this post on. My friend has been suffering with this for a while now and doctors don't seem to be able to pin point a cause or offer relief.
Her letter to me:
Tuesday evening I experienced what appeared to be the beginnings of a severe migraine, I took the appropriate medication & was spared of the pain that usually accompanies. However, I experienced symptoms I have never had before, and they continue to a lesser degree. My equilibrium is off (difficult to keep my balance), and the right side of my face is partially numb. You know that feeling when you've left the dentist's office and your face is 'waking up.' That is what it feels like. I just came from my neurologist's office, and he feels it is most likely a different manifestation of migraine. However, he has ordered another MRI (had the first earlier this month & it was normal), to rule out the possibility of a TIA ~ or 'mini' stroke. So after only 7 work days, I am again off work. I am MUCH more than just frustrated!!!
I will do my best to keep you all updated, and I thank you in advance for your prayers. Much love in Christ, and may He pour out His richest blessings on you and all that you do.
Becky

THE SNEEZE
They walked in tandem, each of the ninety-three students filing into the already crowded auditorium. With rich maroon gowns flowing and the traditional caps, they looked almost as grown up as they felt. Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and moms freely brushed away tears. This class would not pray during the commencements ----- not by choice but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting it. The principal and several students were careful to stay within the guidelines allowed by the ruling. They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessings on the graduates or their families. The speeches were nice, but they were routine....... Until the final speech received a standing ovation. A solitary student walked proudly to the microphone. He stood still and silent for just a moment, and then he delivered his speech....an astounding SNEEZE! The rest of the students rose immediately to their feet, and in unison they said, "GOD BLESS YOU." The audience exploded into applause. The graduating class found a unique way to invoke God's blessing on their future... with our without the court's approval.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
prayers going up for your friend Becky.
