... pork chops for supper tonight
You will be pleased to learn that I'm being very good tonight, very kosher. I rummaged through the freezer and found a nice little tenderloin of beef to supplement your nice taco.
G*d, I hope Mrs. lodwick gets back here soon - my sanity is at risk. Eating, drinking, smoking have become my life. But, thank G*d, it's not dolls. If you smoke in America today, you can have one, but not both.

and badjoe gave Bill freerepublic bumper stickers for our car and truck
Bill keep promising to put them on and last week he did
it gave me a shock tho when bill said ''come on out, I put joe's FreeRepublic bumper stickers on''
I didn't realize he knew what FreeRepublic was

You always have to beware the guys that become preoccupied with their logs. Bodes poorly for the long term.

isn't there a sweeter name for them Just an old fashioned term we blue bloods use for the get of the kitchen maids, concubines
and such who have mated with their betters.
Bastard is a name that can be used with honor remember: William the Bastard, Duke of Normandy.

They are having a super time - feel free to do the same. ;-)

He'd been walking for so long, he couldn't remember when he'd taken the first step. Not that it mattered. He checked his stride to a crawl, shaded his eyes, and stared out across the prairie grass. His shadow stretched out in a long, black finger away from the sun. A breeze pulled at his long jacket. He'd paused too long. He was compelled to move on.
He entered the little diner and took a seat in an onubtrusive spot. He was trying to go unnoticed. At least unnoticed by certain people. He didn't care if the others noticed him. If the others noticed him, he'd relish the moment. Someone could actually see him. A petite blonde was staring at him from the counter. She was young, pretty, and out of place here. Like him. Only he had reason to be out of place. He read her fairly easily, her story was written on her as if her heart were on the outside. With a muttered word, he put it into her heart to pursue her dream. Maybe that would be enough, maybe not. Not everyone responded to his suggestions. Others seemed to hear him better than they heard himself.
He excused himself, and walked through the door. The blonde had forgotten him already, but her dream was bright in her heart and mind. His next stop was beckoning already. He hoped he wouldn't run into them. He hoped to avoid fights with the others.

Thats so cool...my hubby and Mr. Magoo, meeting up visiting whatever...having a grand time...glad they are having such a good time, so I can also have a good time, without any guilt...
Palo, you are so right...its almost as if we are one big family....
I just find this whole thing to be so cool...I hope my husband got to take a gravestone rubbing of Capones grave, and also take a photo of it
One of my husbands fellow co workers, wanted to see a pic of Capones grave, so my husband told him that his wife(me) had made contact with someone on the internet who could direct him to Capones grave...so as my hubby was getting nearer and nearer to his vacation, he and this fellow co worker, when they would cross paths, would just grin at each other and say 'Mr. Magoo', and they knew what they were talking about...
To: palo verde
humm along now...We are Fam i ly. You are correct, if we can use this implement for the good, then how great can it be?
But it's just like any other tool, bad people can use it almost as well as the good.

It's warmed up some, but still threatening rain. My rose is doing rather well, especially well since it got pounded by some hail in our last 'big' storm. I guess it's decided to get 'tough'.
Well, going to power down and check my eyelids for holes. Or check holes for my eyelids?
To: Darksheare
