Hiya Mom, how's the head these days? Have you been able to tilt your neck back and pour some ale down your throat? The important things ;-)

Would you call that guy a meshugina??? LOL...I am trying to learn Yiddish (per Habs isntructions) so I can talk to my Mom when she complains how much she dislikes Sharon and Bibi. In Italian we would call him a gabbone.

I'll have you know that my heritage goes back long and far to Nova Scotia and points further East, and them folk know their lobster. So do I!! And when the claw is hot and the meat is stuck in there, well, what do you think you use to get the emat out? Surely not a spoon, wee lassies!! FORK! special lobster fork, too...say it with me class....LOBSTER FORK.... its a smaller version of a fondue fork....
But then again, I stopped wearing a bib around my front when I was 7.Youse two, well....

Ah, indeed the head improved...drank lots and lots of ale on both Saturday and Sunday...I tossed down my first beer at the Red Hook Brewery so fast, and added a comment, "Boy, I was thirsty", that I drew a round of applause from the other patrons, as well as our server
I normally dont drink that fast, but it was warm out, I was hot and tired from our tour of the doll museum, and that beer was mighty tasty and frosty...so I downed it...

You wouldn't call either a finoccle then?;-)
To: habs4ever
Yea well the smaller munchkin fork is for DIGGING..not eating...jeesh. What's a bib??

hi andysmom
she enjoyed her walk so much
I guess the big pleasure in takin' them for walks is how much they enjoy them
altho her favorite thing to do is snoop into other people's property
I can't get it thru Lulu's thick head bout private property
(lol I just spent half the day on thread bout private property, but the issue of Lulu snoopin' was not the bone of contention)
Love, Palo

That's right, why use a bib when the back of the hand is as absorbent ;-)
To: habs4ever
I got myself into the museum doll shop and boy did I go wild...bought five lovely dollies...I was beside myself with joy...the hubby just grinned...he said, ah, have a good time, its Mothers Day weekend...hes a good guy...
Now he leaves for his two week trip back to Chicago...and his instructions are to bring me back some dollies...he always tries to oblige...
To: habs4ever
LOL..so true..my best adventure is with crab legs tho...and I don't like to share.

Its odd how a view, unobstructed for each property owner, wasn't part of the original development deal?I 'm curious, but does this shakedown artist have shoreline rights that allow him to deny access to the lake for each homeowner?Or were there no Riparian rights in ther original deed of sale?? Sounds like extortion to me........
To: palo verde
Bassets dont know the meaning of 'private property'...with their nose, and its remarkable penchant for picking up any scent, they feel the whole world is their own property, to be investigated...
To: OneidaM
hi sweetie
meshiginar (sp?) means crazy person
I think my dad would call that guy a shitpot
To: habs4ever
shakedown artist is perfect name for him habs
To: palo verde

Palo, do you know the word 'momser' or 'mumser'...not sure of the spelling...a Jewish friend of mine, says that means SOB in Yiddish...is that true? Or did your parents never use that word?
To: habs4ever
Of course you novice.. I have two different kinds of picks.. lobster forks and of course the crackers.. I also use my dainty cute little finger for the knuckles.. ;) Don't mess with me when it comes to lobster.. I was raised by a Herron Choker...from Novie too... slurp, slurp...
