Well, its time for me to go now...have to get ready to watch the X-Files...this is the last season, and the last few episodes...thank goodness, there is FX on television, and full of X-Files reruns......I dont watch a heck of a lot of television, but I do have my favorite programs, and X-Files is one of them...sad that this will be the last year...
But I survived it when 'Seinfeld' went off the air, and so I shall survive no new episodes of X-Files...we get Seinfeld here, two episodes a day, six days a week, so that keeps my happy...and the X-Files will go on forever in reruns...
So, good evening to everyone, have a good sleep, and show up tomorrow, ready and eager to converse, and see what new things we may see on our Eagle Site...
Palo, give 'Killer' Lulu and her sidekick Happy, a special kiss for me, goodnite...

I did it
this is a nice gift you gave us ac
Love, Palo
I did not succeed in posting the pic
it is lovely touch to have setting Sun displaying beauty of our Planet
and to have human on shore gazing up at stars

joke of day is YOU KNOW YOU ARE FROM ARIZONA IF:
most of them are true!
I forgot that 115 is not a normal summer temp for others
of course we don't have it that often
only five times in a summer
and our temp starts going' down drastically as soon as Sun sets
and it couldn't reach as high as 115 till well into the afternoon
(and if it's 115 here it's 118 in Phoenix rofl) (that's an inside joke)
Love, Palo
blackbart, honey if you want to read the jokes bout desert heat (and AZ) go to post 197, and click on above the tulips, that other box is joke of the day
To: acnielsen guy
your screw joke is funny too ac
altho seems to me the twist came in round '61-'62
girls weren't wearing poodle skirts anymore
petticoats (crinolines) were out
pleated skirts were in
I just remembered I had a white pleated skirt for spring
Love, Palo
To: habs4ever
habs, before womens liberation, girls were not allowed to wear pants to school
so even tho styles came in
pedal pushers and shortshorts were replaced by bermuda shorts, then jamaica shorts, then capri pants
we could only wear those on weekends
so skirts were big deal
Love, Palo
To: habs4ever; grannie9
of course chickie was a go-go girl in the '60s
she wore those little white boots
To: palo verde
Good morning Palo.. You hit a nerve when you said Burmuda Skirts.. I remember making a couple for my girlfriend and I, pleated, and we wore them to school.
Our farty Old Maid English teacher sent us down to the office and we both got three day suspensions. Just because a little bit our knees were showing.. We also had on knee socks. She called us brazen sluts.. LOL..
I guess things never change.. I'm still one... ;)
But, I started the trend in the school, and the school lost.. Ha, ha...
To: palo verde;ACnielsenguy
Poor AC.. He probably can't remember the 50's and 60's, or he might have still been in England.
I should have remembered tho.. right AC? LOL LOL Ohhhhh .. getting old is frightful... You have to be so aware of things..
To: palo verde
Yup.. high go go boots.. Hip-hugger mini skirts. Did the twist, when I didn't have much to twist.. LOL.. Ahhh.. life.. it's a caution..
To: ACnielsenguy
Especially with that Palo around.. FOFLMBO
